Oh dear Mary, if not one thing another. I hope all goes well w/Mike's transition. Can you treat the cats? I had that once eons ago w/cats and had to call an exterminator. Yes, I'd blame it on the macadamias too.

Mary... That many on your socks is serious! Flea infestations seem to be getting worse; they seem to be more resistant to control substances. I hope the bombs work, but make sure you follow the instructions about plants, pets and food surfaces. Diatomaceous Earth is what we put on the dogs and cats, on ourselves, on rugs or carpets or pet beds... We used to buy the big bag at the pool store, but this will work. We also use Flea traps. Be sure to keep the house otherwise dark at night so the trap (or traps) is/are the only light. The are very effective in the dark.

Oh no, fleas! What a bummer! Glad Mike is home, though. I hope the flea treatments work.

Good morning everyone. Sorry I've not been in for a while. A bit under the weather. I've read the posts but I know I won't remember a lot. Mary...what a fright for you all,but so glad Mike is a lot better. I can't remember when I last saw a flea...just what you need. Milyn and Grassy...well done on the weight loss. I would love to put on a few pounds. Flagryl, at last your plans are working out regarding the memorial. Tilly. Happy birthday to you and your sister. I had the biggest dinner disaster last night . We rarely eat pork but decided to have a loin roast. Tough and overcooked. Joe ate his but I gave up. The crackling was a non event. On the bright side...there is a lovely Rosella feeding outside my window.

Had to google Rosella, that sure is a very pretty bird. Sorry you have been under the weather, hope now you are feeling a bit better. As far as I'm concerned,. pork would always be a disaster if put in front of me LOL Basically chicken and very lean beef, I could be a good vegetarian except I do like white meat chicken LOL

Thank you Huronna. Just generally not up to par. I'll try to do Flagryl's challenge. I don't eat much meat either...goes back to when I was diagnosed with haemochromatosis. I was more worried at being told not to drink alcohol than giving up meat. Both being bad for iron. Luckily after a year or so I was given the green light to have a few drinks. We eat vegetarian pasta a lot and Chicken also. By the way. I wanted to buy Molinara Sambuca in a white bottle but couldn't get it. What brand do you favour?
