Hello, my most precious Tigerlilies! What's up?
Well, it looks like I will be paying my dentist's next couple of mortgage payments ha ha ha. I need a new crown and a root canal procedure. Yesterday he cleaned out the tooth, got all the ickies out of it (it was indeed badly infected) and put medicine in it and covered it with a temporary filling. I go back on the 10th of October to get the root canal and the crown. He couldn't do more than clean and put the medicine in because of the infection. Mouth pain is insane, but happily some Advil knocked it right out.
Silk, that is awesome about the house! Even 15 minutes closer is a really big deal.
Huronna, I went to Tubeville before I came here. Holy cow! Thank you so much! All the tubes are beautiful!
How is everyone?
Flagryl, sorry about the Covid. Blah!
I had a follow-up with my PCP too. All my labs are doing great, and I don't have to see her for six more months. I am stable. In six months, though, I need a colonoscopy. Whoopee.

Whoopee or poopee HA Ha. After my last one at 72 which was clean, they said no more since they do them every 10 years and not over 80, so that leave me out yeah! Also was told no more mammograms either after the age of 76, unless you have had a previous problem , been having those buggers since I was 40, enough is enough! Glad you like the tubes, more to come in the near futures I am sure, That's great about your labs also

Just a flyby and a quick hello to all. Well enough to be back to appts for acupuncture and chiropractic today - and tomorrow is PT on hip. Thankfully sleeping well again. Grassy - sorry about that tooth; I have dealt with that pain. I hope it settles and the procedure goes easily. Good luck on jub hunt! Silk; yay on the house! Hur; I had my first mammogram at 34 and have had them every year since - though now they give me the 3d ones due to micro-calcifications. I have lost 490 pounds since the last one - fat, not muscle - and that means boobs. I got a call back this time for both breasts because they could see things they had never seen before in my formerly dense and fibrous (younger) then much bigger and rounder breasts. I've got another C-scopy scheduled down the road and next year an Endoscopy. Next year is much closer than it used to be, haha. Waving at Margie and leaving more hugs for Flagryl!

490 lbs, you must be joking Milyn. Grassy, that tooth must have been infected before you realized it, my worst fear. Best to you!! Again, so glad they are closer Silk. We are making arrangement for our trip back to Wisc since 5 other nephews/niece are flying in, hard to find a restaurant other than a bar/pub open on a Mon night. I found one and nephew from VA texted, is that a Packer Bar. Well, of course, it's Wisconsin. He was raised in St Paul and is still an avid Vikings fan. Good times. I love these kids, my stepson will fly in from NC as well.

Flagryl, if I can lay some of that fear to rest, this particular tooth has needed a crown since 2010, but I was scared of the root canal procedure, so I was babying it along with the filling and just going through life. Finally the tooth underneath just gave up the fight. Teeth are porous and the little tubules can get bacteria in them. I should have just done the crown back then in 2010, but I was struggling really hard then. Now I am in a better place to just go ahead and do it. I doubt you would leave a necessary dental procedure as long as I did.
490 lbs Smilyn? Holy Smackers! That's a lot. How long did it take to lose that much weight?
I have to do colonoscopies every five years due to family history and my own history with adenoma. Five years go by in a flash.
I got my 7-year breast cancer survey. Can you guys believe that has been 7 years already? I have lost 47 lbs now and I feel better since way before that diagnosis.

Huronna, I still have about 40 more lbs. to lose, but I am getting there. My clothes fit looser. I would say I am now in 2X's, but I always wore large because I am a bit bigger up front if you know what I mean. I will be more swelte looking when I make my goal weight. Being diagnosed with diabetes lit a fire under my butt.

Have a wonderful time Tilly and Happy Birthday to you and your sister!! Grassy, wow that tooth has been acting up for some time and I wonder if it's interferred with some of your other health issues lurking beneath the radar. Congrats on the wait loss, with your commitment and dedication you will get there.
I've gained 5. I can blame it on my thyroid and it assumes some of the blame but mostly it's me just not caring. More later.

Yea...we got our Passports, finally. Terrible picture, but I knew that. Such harsh lights at Walgreens. John got fitted for new orthodic in soles, it was time. I got a pedi today and John and I tried on our dress clothes. His suit fits and my lil black dress fits! I bought it before I lost that 7 lbs so it works. Round it out with pearls and either a light jacket or pretty sweater. I'm leaning toward the wool/cashmere powder blue cartigan and kitten heel black pumps.
Since Amy has covid for the second time, we are staying longer in Eau Claire so I reserved 2 additional nights at the motel. Goodness, almost $30 additional per night than the Reservation I made for 1 night over a month ago. It will most likely be the last time he's in his hometown so we plan to hang out. The rest of the family is flying back right after the memorial.
Packers play the Lions tonight so we'll watch on Amazon Prime. You can sorta record it, play back and fast forward but it's not like they store it in the cloud like Direct TV.

Tomorrow is going to be a difficult day. We are going to a Memorial Service for a friends' mother. We were lucky to have met her on many occasions, before aggressive Alzheimer too over. So sad what that can do, but within a year she is finally at peace. I don't do very well at these kinds of functions, Will have to keep my sunglasses on and have lots of tissues with me.
On a happier note, next Wed in the install on our new walking in-shower which will replace the shower tube, that is so difficult for us and all our guests to get in and out of.

Flagryl, we are watching the Lions-Packers game too. Prime Video is not what we normally watch, but they got the Thursday Night contract, so I will just have to bear with it. I prefer other stations' coverage, but if I want to see my Lions tonight, this is where I get them.
Huronna, I am sorry for your sadness. Memorial Services are so difficult.
I am sending everybody all the best vibes and happiest thoughts. Love to you all.

Well we had an eventful day. Not me, as I was stuck at home like normal, nut Mike texted me saying he was having chest and jaw pain. Not the first time he has said thus to me over the last few weeks. I have been telling him to go to the hospital. Today I told him to chew aspirin and they didn't have any at the store. I texted my sister and she made a trip into town to give him some. He was pale as could be. She told him he was going to the hospital. Hot him in there, did an EKG and some other things and said they thought he he was actively having a heart attack. So they took him and pit a Stent in. His one artery was almost completely blocked. A piece of the plaque had broken away. They did scans and showed him. He said they went in right above his wrist. He was awake for the whole thing. He said they might let him out tomorrow but who knows. The Mom of one of Syd's girlfriends is a nurse and she said she figured 2 days.

My goodness Mary... That's a terrifying tale. I'm so glad they were able to get to him when they did. Your sister made the right decision! I hope everything goes well in his recovery. Huronna and Flagryl I'm leaving hugs for both of you as you deal with those services. Happy Birthday Tilly to you and your sister; have a lovely vacation! Silk: Happy Spring to you!! Good luck again, Grassy - and congrats on your weight loss! RE weight: You are all so funny! It is 40lbs. (My finger must have come down between the 9 and the 0 and I didn't notice.) Funny image though... especially when I said a lot of it was boobs (Oh! The logistics!!) Anyway... Of the 75 pounds I gained so quickly during Long Covid, I previously had lost 20lbs and have now lost another 40. I am hoping to lose another 15 before taking a break - taking me back to where I was in 2019. I don't want to lose more than that for the moment; I am noticing that my face is showing changes. My sister's face is unattractively lined and hollowed since she slimmed, so I think I will try not to lose into that range. My goal will leave me in a size 14 (down from a 24.) I can wear some 16's now and have been moving clothing about this morning - toss, donate, store or (joy!) rescue from boxes and add to the closet to wear. Happy Full Moon in Aries to all... set some good intentions in the next 24 hours as both Full Moons and Aries are aligned with New Beginnings and bringing abundance to growth plans.

Hi Everyone! What's happening?
Smilyn, ha ha. Well, 40 lbs is still a great accomplishment, so you go girl.
It's Sid's night to cook and he is making me Prime Rib. That's quite a change from the stew he gets when I cook. Ha ha. He says he loves stew, but dang, stew versus Prime Rib. It's like New Year's around here. Sid said we should treat ourselves today.

Surprises are nice Grassy, isn’t before last Joe said, hey let’s try the Indian restaurant and see if it’s S good as the one that had closed. It was great and we will definitely go back again. Relaxing in front of the TV now, keeping Joe company as he watches some football game.

ok Mike is finally on his way home! They did keep him for 2 days. He was under the impression that whoever picked him up from the hospital would drop him off at work so he could drive the car home. Nope! They must have said he can drive tomorrow but not today. 49 years old he is!
So as if that weren't enough stress in my life right now , it seems we have an infestation of fleas~ OMG! When will it ever end. My sister brought some flea medicine over last night along with a long pair or pants for me to wear and a flea collar to go around my ankle also! I don't seem to be getting bit but they are covering my socks! we are going to have to be setting off some flea bombs in the house. I thought I would be able to put the flea medicine on the cats but can't. Soon as Mike gets home

Sounds like Murphy's Law is hitting you. Glad Mike is doing well, you might have to call an exterminator, as the fleas are probably in your rugs and furniture
