That sounds like a fun job for you Grassy. I hope they take suggestions because you'll be coming up with some great decorating ideas, I'm sure. Flagryl; I'm glad the grill is a green light - can't believe the skylights are still in limbo. Exciting about the potential of twins to watch. Nice that the buck is around to guard his family. Roni; waiting to hear with crossed fingers. Silk; holding lots of energy for you and Julien. Mary... sending support your way at this difficult time with extra to pass along also. Horonna... travel safe. It will be nice to have you back. I am having a busy day. I'm doing a bit better. HUGS to all...

I still have not done any auction entries. Maybe now that my mind is calm and my job is settled, maybe I can do some. The auction is next weekend right?

I think the auction is the 6th and 7th. I have got a few more to get done. Congrats on the job!!
Smilin so sorry about your friend. Makes me sad!
I am still taking one day and step at a time. Of course I get weepy over everything.
Sydnee is going on vacation with her friend and family again in a few weeks, then it will be a rush to get her ready for school to start.

The auction is planned for the 6th and 7th. all depending on the # of entries. So one or two may be a last minute decision. We usually had about 25 per auction which was a good number, but many more than they will make it hard for people to decide what to bid, so there might be two silent auctions. All depends on how many more I get in the next week. I know I have been promised quite a few more, but as yet not received them, so we will see. We usually ask for 3 per auction, but it's hard for some to do that and easy for others. so we will play it by ear.

Glad you are better Milyn and Mary that you are hanging in as best you can. Welcome home Huronna! Grassy, congrats on the new job. Try not to sneak all the sprinkles!
Grill was delivered this morning. It was not assembled correctly but the deliver guy was a hero. Not only did he help John carry it around to the patio, up 4 stairs, but he noted the side tables had not been installed correctly so he and John corrected the error. He also supervised hooking it up to the propane tank and testing it. He was only supposed to drop it at the end of the driveway! Good ol' midwest boy from S Dakota, gotta love it. John will grill steak tonight to celebrate.

My 2 year lease is up on the 4th of August, so I have another apartment to move into but I can't until the 4th of August, I took a nap and when I got up, the whole right side was just killing me... So I went to the ER to see what was wrong, they did a Cat Scan, blood work etc... They sent me home with Prednisone for 5 days and I just finished them this Morning... The steroid worked as well as the muscle relaxers... I am just moving across town.. I will also be closer to all of the places I go... Big Hugz

Your new apartment sounds awesome Roni, but being pain-free sounds even better! I am so glad for you!
I am glad the grill saga worked out Flagryl.
How is everyone? I hope life is good for everyone, and everyone is enjoying themselves.
I begin safety training on Tuesday for work. I expect by next weekend I will be making doughnuts and bagels. I wonder if they spell it doughnuts or donuts.
Has anybody had a good adventure?

Good evening everyone. Roni glad to know you're pain free and looking forward to a new home and Milyn that you're doing a little better. Flagryl, it's a good feeling to know how many kind people there are . How exciting to have twin deer. We had two lovely Rose Cockatoos in the garden today. Mary, how are you doing . Looking forward to learning more about your new job Grassy. My son Julien saw his surgeon today. Surgery is scheduled for 6th Sept. It's a big deal and of course I am very anxious. There is something seriously wrong with my left shoulder. Pain is sickening at times . It's been gradually getting worse over the past months.I see my doctor this week. It will probably be an MRI or something. One wonders, ' what's next?'

Pain is miserable Silk. I sure hope they can help you with it. What kind of surgery are they doing on Julian? I can just picture Grassy making donuts, twirling them around her fingers and flipping them up in the air like a pizza. Milyn, you should post a photo here of your new hairdo for those that are not on Facebook, it is lovely! Roni, photos of your new home also Joe's Nespresso machine is not working, hoping we can find someone to repair it since he really loves his cappuccino.

Thank you Huronna for your empathy. I am soaking it up. My Joe loves his coffee also and I hate to think what would happen if the machine broke.

Well shock of all shocks....We called customer service and I had to help Joe because she wanted a zoom call so she could watch that we were following her instructions. I had never touch his machine since I use my faithful Keurig. So there I was with portable phone in one hand, my Ipad camera in the other and I found a third hand to do what she was instructing. Seems hubby had never read the manual and in the 2 or three years that he had it, he had never done the cleaning procedure which is supposed to be done once a week if the machine it used a lot. BUT...he had never done it. I guess we were one the phone for at least 30 minutes and it still was not working, so she said....well the next procedure is.....(Hold onto you seat) is for us to send you a new machine and a UPS label and you just sent the old one back to use No charge. I was absolutely stunned. I was expecting a "to bad, so sad, it's dead, you'll have to buy a new one" or "you have to send it back to use and pay the fixing charges"....but THEY ARE SENDING US A NEW ONE, NO CHARGE. Unreal.
a little interruption, we were expecting a plumber to check out a problem we were having with the flushing mechanism. Joe was lying on the bed so I answered the door and was escorting the man to the bathroom when a heard a "thud". Joe had gotten up too fast, got light headed and wound up on the floor. the guy followed me to the bedroom and thank heavens for him because Joe is like dead weight. With the two of us we got him in a sitting position leaving up against the bed and then slowly inched him up on the bed. I never would have been able to do it myself, I would have called 911. No broken bones, but a cut on his ear, Thank heavens for the guy who helped me. Now I;m exhausted also, but the toilet is fixed.
