I can't imagine, you could fry an egg on your sidewalk. I hope your air conditioning is working Suzie, I'm sure it's working OT. We got some rain here, but not out here where we are, but it has been cloudy. Love cloudy days!

Anyone heard from Mary? I am sure she will be sore. How brave she is going through that. Roni your hair looks good. What a couple of nice photos. Suzi, I could not take that heat. I see photos on the news how lines of traffic are trying to get into the national parks and some being turned away after sitting in line for hours. Imagine sitting in a vehicle on the highway waiting in those temps. We have decided not to take our trip out that way this year after all.Isn’t monsoon season in August? Still over a month away if so. Huronna the Birthday Dinner phots are great. Food sounds delicious too. You look so happy. Tomorrow is our long awaited Conceal and Carry classes. All day .. we have waited over a year for these. We were signed up in Florida but Covid got it canceled. I tried to get the wrecker set up through our insurance but they said I had to call in 24 hours in advance. So Sunday we will call again. Jerry tried to start it again but same results. Starter works good but fuel switch is not opening the flow. Yesterday Sand I I took our sisters day out and went to pick blue berry's. The ground was rough and I fell to my knees. I have a pretty bad scrape and some swelling but it is working good so just lacerations. Then she needed some things for her CRICUT for a project she is working on. So we went to Branson. We went to Hobby Lobby and then to Michale’s. After than we hit Aldi and got a few things. We were Hoth ready to get home. It had been three weeks since our outing so it felt great to be out together without our husbands. Jerry had found a zucchini ready to pick and had laid it on the counter. I cooked it up along with air fryer chicken thighs and sliced potatoes with some leftover gravy I heated up and that was our dinner. Today we are to be in the mid 90’s so need to get outside things done while it is in mid 70’s now. Have a good day and stay cool.

Yup Huronna, that is another little hot spot. Over the years we have hit 120+ a few times. Hopefully monsoon season will start in July and run through August. But the humidity makes it bad bad and worst for me. It is sticky all the way around. Haven't checked what they are predicting for today's heat. Though I think I remember from yesterday a few degrees down from yesterday, like around 113. Well you know I won't be movin around too much. It is vegetate time.

Mary checked in a couple time yesterday, didn't say much about it, not yet. Give her time. My husband has his conceal/carry license. and I know we have various weapons in the house. I have often thought about doing it also, but always seems something else gets in the way. Have a dentist appt on Monday, think I'll need another cap. I only have three teeth that aren't capped or bridges, at least they are straight, not like when I was growing up. So many thing are going up in price, not only in the grocery stores and gas stations, but our monthly service for lawn fertilization and bug control just left and their cost went up $3, so has the company that services our spa. I don't see an increase in SS though or retirement payments.

Good afternoon all. Our eye appointment went better then I though it would. But did spend a bit more time with the exam, but well worth it. Hubby needed new glasses badly and with his new prescription it will not do enough but worth the try. He decided to wear his new glasses and will probably have cataract surgery on both eyes next year. We both had the glaucoma test and I have no clue what the other one was for. Also they took pictures of both my eyes because my left eye has been bothering me. Also since I'm a diabetic they dilated my eyes and good thing I had my sunglasses with me. No need to worry about my left eye, the new glasses should do the trick. Had a wonderful ophthalmologist and he was very caring which make it easier on us both. Will get our glasses around the first of July. Hope everyone is staying cool wherever they live right now. It's was very warm here, 95 with a heat index of 100 yesterday. Thank goodness for air conditioning. Hope Mary is doing better now that she has had her surgery. Nice highlights Roni, you look great. The first and last time I ever had highlights done was when my kids were younger. The gal that did it well she didn't know what she was doing and it turned my hair pink. Yes I say Pink. I called the beauty salon and the lady that did my hair say she would give some something to take care of that. I say no I will let it grow out. Never went back there again. Thanks for sharing your birthday pictures with us Huronna. Love the flowers especially. I agree with you Huronna the price of goods and services has gone up a lot since the Covid. Very scary since anyone having or getting a job now, makes more money then most of us make when we were working.

Hello my most precious Tigerlilies!
Well, I have another lung infection - not Covid thank God. It's a radiation complication.
I had to quit my job, but I have another interview and some other possibilities. Despite my saying I needed to be out of the sun, they kept on placing me out in the sun - alone - with 17 children on a playground. I had kids leave the playground and I never saw it. I asked why I was left alone with 17 children and they made light of the issue. I got a vicious sunburn, so I decided that I needed to make more assertive decisions about my health.
I have been sleeping a lot - like 12 hours a night and then having naps.
But I have other - less stressful - possibilities. I won't have to worry about little children escaping or climbing onto the roof. Ha ha.
But otherwise things are great. How about with yall? I will need to read about all the happenings.

I loved the little kids - it's too bad my alleged grownup co-workers were so awful. But it's a small town - same old cliques. It's all high school I assure you. All they did was move into jobs in the community. I am going to look for jobs in other towns.

Grassy, yes the your health is the most important thing right now. Staying out of the sun is best for you. I wish you all the best in finding another job and I'm sure you will indeed. Thanks Huronna for your kind words. The ophthalmologist Dr. Nicholas McCullen didn't even touch my left or right eye at all. It was all done by machines this time, down to the pictures. I was very impressed . Just found out the other day that my son's father Ron my ex-husband is in hospice as we speak. I got a call from his wife Susan on Friday. Seems he will be coming home on June 24th and have 24/7 hospice care. He is a diabetic and didn't take care of himself and lost one leg and his other leg is infected. I feel for my son's the most in this matter. I shall be keeping them all in my thoughts and prayers.

That is so sad. I think Lynx's father is possibly in the same circumstances. Diabetes is such a debilitating disease as it affects so many other organs in your body. Even though he is in hospice his wife is going to have her hands full. Before my brother passed (quite a few years ago) he too was in hospice in a friends home. Though there was nurse visits, we had to finally get round the clock nursing as it was humanly impossible for one person to do all the caring. Prayers going out to them

Sorry to hear about Lynx's father. How is he doing now? Thanks for your kind words Huronna. My ex husband's wife Susan just needs to take it one day at a time right now. Her husband Ron my ex should be coming home around the 24th or later on this month. Yes she will have her hands full that's for sure. She expects company as well. Both of my son's are doing just fine at the present time.

It's absolutely awful for those people who suffer badly from Diabetes. I'm very sorry about your ex Margie. Glad you were happy with the eye man.I was very lucky. People who are diagnosed too late for haemochromatosis often have diabetes. I was on a diabetes diet for two years but when my iron level came down those symptoms left. It must be terrifying to lose a limb. Our Frogmouth is back in it's spot again to day. Opened one eye to look at me and went back to snooze. Whispy, what a huge hassle for you . Grassy I hope you're feeling better. Be well everyone.

Hey Whispy, how did you get out of Facebook Jail?
I am in Facebook jail because of something someone shared to me in February of 2018. It had to do with a self driving Tesla and road rage. People thought it was funny for me since I am visually impaired and can't drive. Facebook blamed me and offered me access to counseling and a suicide hotline. And then restricted my account. Jeez Louise! LOL!
Otherwise everything is great! How are yall? I love you all and i am praying for everyone!

Well, Jeez Louise! They tried to say I posted it today. Like when I was sleeping. I slept for 14 hours today. There's no way I would have posted it. And not from February of 2018. Jeez.
Now you ALL know that I have been no stranger to Facebook Jail. And I own the times my little yapper has gotten me into trouble. But I accept my responsibility and take my lumps and do my time. I am just happy I have a sock account.
I would love another venue if it were visually accessible.

Oh this Diabetes is a terrible disease. I'm a retired Hospice patient volunteer, it's such a great organization. Lynx, what's the update on your father? Margie, I'm glad your ex is in Hospice given the issues. My daughter's father lost both his feet because of diabetes. He had an eating disorder and just couldn't take care of himself properly. Died at 69. How does it happen that a man who wrestled at 180 and played football at 190 in high school get like that! He went to AA but lapsed. Had married a woman w/same issues. Just breaks my heart when I hear about these tragedies. Mary, you are a testament to courage gryl. I hope the pain is down and you are on your way to recovery.
FB jail again. Grassy, I know it's not funny but you make me smile. I'm excited about the new artist Huronna. What fun Silk, that you are monitoring that Frogmouth!
We have another fire raging in a canyon north of Sedona and south of us, communities are threatened but no evac orders yet. They've been ordered to set SET and ready to go if needed. I hope we get some rain to damp it down.

Grassy, That stays with you. No way to get rid of past things. Other than time will allow you to post then more time to be able to sell. Hubby wanted me to just open another account. It remains on your record forever I think. One thing FB does is go back and post some of your past posts. It should say something like “remembering ___ years ago”. (The blank is years) I have seen some of those pop up and I delete them form current thread.
Huronna I would love to find another site that actually gives us freedom of speech. I tried one and it was to far the other way so quit that one.

Huronna, a sock account is a backup account that mirrors the account you currently have. You just use a different email address. You have all the same friends and a similar name.
Whispy, I had thought you appealed because you had said you got 7 days, but you were out in 24 hours, so I wondered if you had appealed or something.
My situation is a friend had posted a meme about Tesla's self-driving cars and how they would be safe because even blind people could drive them. The post was made on February 22, 2018. Facebook Community Standards claims I posted the same thing on June 21, 2021 at 4:17 a.m. (when I was sleeping) and they thought I was suicidal so they offered me resources for suicide prevention.
I thought you had appealed, so I looked for a way to appeal, but there was no way. I reckon I can turn the Memories off. I know you can do that. But my Memories have already been cleansed. I just think it's dumb when it was shared to me from a friend and it's been OK for 3 years. And they say they want to help me. How is restricting my account and isolating me helpful?
Ooooooo a new artist! Yay!
No bueno on the fires. It is so hot! We are in severe drought conditions here.

I have yet to be thrown in FB jail but I'm expecting it to happen one of these days. I have a nephew who is always in FB jail.
Had to see my surgeon today but first I had a visit in the spa for a massage. They charged me for 4 so I am going to take advantage of them. They are massaging my lymphatic system. Then I had to go to the next office down to see the Surgeon. I have a large collection of what he thinks is blood on my right side. I am going to see him again Monday to have it drained. Fun Fun Yes I did remember to get more pain pills. Mike took that to Wal-mart tonight and is going to pick it up tomorrow.
I didn't get very far on looking for something to do the other night. Once again tonight I am exhausted.
Anything from Anita that I've missed?
