Good morning. Flagryl ....I am sorry you're feeling so under the weather, to put it mildly. I hope the steroid shots help. Maybe that delicious cake will take the edge off. I've also bought tubes I already had. I love it that Very Many have those little checks if you already have a tube. Roni that is very good news. I looked at Black Walnuts...do they taste the same as regular walnuts? It's breakfast time and I need my cup of tea.

Yeah! Roni! Glad you are ok now. I like VeryMany also, as soon as you sign in those little checks appear. Saves buying doubles. Same with PFD, If you try and order something it will say...you already have this. CDO does have a record of sales in your profile. but only goes to 2018. I did contact them one time as I somehow lost the tube, but still had the jpg of the image. It was before 2018 and they were able to sent me the tube without a hassle.
Got my hair cut today, I knew it was getting a bit unruly , but didn't realize the last time I have it cut was July 7th. EEEK that is almost three months ago. No wonder I was shaggy as I usually get it cut every 7-8 weeks.

Flagryl, how are you? Huronna, you must feel so good after getting your hair cut! Was it weird wearing a mask, or were you allowed to take it off? I have so much hair that I would think the mask would get in the hairdresser's way. How is everyone? To the person who duplicated tubes, I forgot who it was, I am so sorry. But I have done that oodles of times with kits. Some sites will let you know you have bought it before - like PicsForDesign and Scraps N Company, etc. But like at Tiny Turtle, if I goof up and accidentally get a duplicate, I just email the customer service and let them know and they can check it or I can show my receipt if I still have it and they will let me get a credit so I can get a kit I don't have. Customer service in the PSP world is so fabulous! I bet if you just email them they will totally help you out! Life here is super fantastic! It is really fall-like here! It is cool too. I am not digging that, but that's Minnesota. So, my precious Tigerlilies, I have decided that I am going to be your Hope Dealer. There is so much sadness and uncertainty in the world today, and a lot of fear. I have taken it upon myself to try and share something positive each day to make people smile and lift our spirits. This pic is from last year. I enjoyed the heck out of that peach smoothie. Things sure look different now. I still do the same things - just a bit more circumspectly. So many things are different now, but tons of things are still the same - like peach smoothies and candy corn and Halloween. And Love. Love will always remain the same. And love will always prevail. And my sweet little Sidsie Bear will always be the cutest little Bear ever. I hope we can all always find one tiny thing that is positive in our lives every day. And maybe we can string those things together. And maybe we can share those things. I love you all.

Who is in the photo with you grassy? Quite the hunk LOL. While she was doing my hair, I just held the mask in from of my mouth and nose, that way she could trim around my ears. I have been going to the same girl for a few years and she knows just what I need. I was surprised at all the hair on the floor when she was done.
I had my first Sambuca with choc covered espresso beans in about six months. It is my most favorite liquor, after Bailey’s. Less calories though.
Good thoughts....Grassy I am such an optimist, it sometimes drives my friends crazy. Joe has two sisters, one we call Debbie downer, and the other is like me. I don’t like talking to the one, but love chatting with the other as you can imagine.
Just think, every day we wake up on this side of the grass, it’s a wonderful day

Huronna, the hottie in the picture is my sweet Sid.
I can see where it isn't as much fun to talk to the one who is a downer. I love laughing and being around happy people, but if someone is sad, I try to cheer them up too.
We can complain because rose bushes have thorns, or we can rejoice because thorn bushes have roses!
Roni, I am so happy that you are doing better.
It is supposed to get cold here in Minnesota. It might be time to start canning some chili now that my kitchen won't be so hot. And maybe for being so brave and canning, I think I deserve cookies. Yep!
I used to like Sambucca when I drank too. I never got into Bailey's, but some of those other drinks were so nice. I just saw a company called Kul Mocks, which was started by a female dietician. It's alcohol free drinks for the ready-made beverage market. 50 calories a drink and more grown up than 7-Up with a lemon. I am super excited to try them. I am grateful to be sober, but sometimes you want a grown up drink.

Black walnuts are different than English walnuts you buy in the store around Christmas. You have to crack them with a hammer and take a nut pick to get pieces of the nut it’s self out. They have a green husk around the shell that will turn brown if it is off the tree long. They stain your hands if you pick them up without gloves on. We try to pick them up before they turn brown as they get really slimy and messy. Once in the trailer they will get messy. I love the taste of them but buy the black walnut nut meats in a bag. I do. Not crack them and pick them.we have an antique corn shelter we could put them through to remove the husks but we do not do that any more. We have to many trees to do all that. Just picking them up off the ground and putting them in the trailer is a full time job for several weeks each fall. Some people will dump them in their driveway to run over with the car. Then break them open and later pick the nut meats out while watching tv or listening to the radio. I find pieces of shell in those hand picked ones so do not like them. People here that we call hill folk pick the nut meats out and sell bags of nut meats. I prefer to. Buy them from a company that does those through machines. Local company here is Hammonds Black-Walnuts. They advertise they are the home of hand picked black walnuts. That is who we sell the black walnuts to. They husk them out of the green part and put them in bags with a very loud messy machine. They weigh the bags and pay about 15 cents a pound. People line up in cars and trucks to sell their black walnuts. Can’t give them away to pickers. They are to much work for the small amount of money. You can google Hammonds Black-walnuts to see what all they sell.

Grassy this statement is a perfect description of a pessimist verses and optimist.... We can complain because rose bushes have thorns, or we can rejoice because thorn bushes have roses! I has seen a photo of Sid before, but it must not have been a good one, save this one, he is a hunk! (save him too)
Whispy, I did google and learned something new, guess I'd never seen them before or even eaten them. Very interesting those funny rakes that use to rake them up.

Black walnuts are great in cookies. My mom used to make black walnut ice box cookies at Christmas. We loved them. John loved black walnut ice cream. French vanilla with the nuts in them.
Hope your computer is breathing again soon Huronna. Lol

Computer was bought in dec, should know something tomorrow. I’ll be closing this thread at midnight and opening a new October thread. This is something we never had before COVID. I think we have all enjoyed it, so we will probably continue this , a new one each month.
