What did you play? We went to my mama's house and Sid built her a chair for her shower. We have a tornado watch - most of the state of MN does. I am totally not in the mood for a tornado today. I am scared of storms.

this would have been my 37th year from graduating. Some of us got together at the park here in town several years ago but nothing really organized. Nobody seems interested. Oh well

Flagryl, mine plugs in also. I wouldn't do batteries either. Grassy I saw that notice on Facebook, stay safe and let us know when you are out of harms' way. We played 5 crowns. www.playmonster.com/product/five-crowns/ great for 2 or many more players. Most of the friends who visit, know how to play also. Mary, I went to two of my high school reunions. the 39th everyone was trying to improve each other, and the 40th...most were or getting ready to retire. The girls were recognizable, but the worse were the Jocks. Bald or gray and totally out of shape. HA HA

Good afternoon friends..lovely sunshine. Huronna...how is the BP now ? Flagryl; My head is not where it should be. Is your surgery on July 11th or was it June 11th. I've not been in for a while and have lost track. Our fridge in the guest room gave up the ghost so Joe went to town and bought a news one today. Several things have bitten the dust recently but I am still here. Our tiny lemon tree has three delicious lemons on it. Ben is here this week. We have our lawyer coming to see that everyhing is right with the will. I am past going into town for legal and bank stuff. Ben cooked a delicios meal last night. My very best wishes to everyone.♥

Bubs, I don't have any sterling silver jewelry. Since we lived in Italy for 5 years in the 70's, 18kt gold was really inexpensive.and then in Japan, Hong Kong and Thailand (though we didn't' live in Hong Kong or Thailand , we traveled there often) I really loved the 18kt. So no matter where we went if we bought jewelry it was gold. I don't have any platinum either. but I checked and...... So good to see you Silk, Sorry about the refrigerator. I wonder how much longer ours is going to last. There was one year when our dishwasher died, as did the garbage disposal and the microwave. All the appliances in my house were the same age and I guess they made a pact that they would go together ha ha. We used to have a great lime tree, but one hurricane scooped it away and we never replaced it. It would have so many lines I could barely give them away. BP is doing good. There was one day when it started going up and I took one of the "knock it back down" pills, laid down for a while and after about 2 hours it was back to normal, SInce then perfect, thankfully. Cleaning people come today and when they leave its off to my pedicure. Maybe red with gold fireworks on the big toe this time? Grassy, the tornado didn't hit you did it?

great to see you pop in Silk, dinner w/Ben sounds wonderful. Our appliances started to go after 22 years, first the washer/dryer then the refridgerator/freezer (ice maker failed and could not be replaced), then the dishwasher. Oven needed a new heat sensor but keeps on rockin.
my surgery was jun 11, doing well. i think as long as silver is not tarnished it can be cleaned w/sonic machine, being from sw i have a nice collection.
a family game we like is UNO, but hearts is a card gamr fav.

We played cribbage today, it's been years since we played that. Had to get the instructions out, because neither one of us could really remember them, BUt every thing came back to both of us quickly. Joe used to always beat me and today was no difference, he won both games. Poo!

I am here. Sorry I did not come here sooner, but have been at the ER with my mama. She is OK, but it takes a minute when you are there.
There was a tornado yesterday, but it was north of Duluth. I live down by the Iowa border. We got a Biblical deluge and lots of thunder and lightning, but we're OK.
Silk, how lovely to see you!
How are you Flagryl?
How are you Huronna?
How is everyone?

I'm doing good, how is your Mama, Grassy, It takes more than a minute when you go in by yourself. I thin each time we have had to go it, it's been at strange hours and we have called 911, and brought in by the paramedics. much faster service. With our insurance we don't' have to pay anything, just sent a nice recommendation when they send that letter.

My mama is resting. I will go back to her house tomorrow. She has really good insurance so that helps out. We were there right around suppertime, which seems to be a busy time for the ER, but the Clinic told us to just go there. I think sometimes the Clinic would just send people over to the ER for X-Rays or CT's or something so that makes sense to go there in the first place.

No, Huronna, it was nothing serious with my mama. They just wanted to do some CT's to rule out any fractures - she's been having so much pain since she fell about three weeks ago. She is OK, but the pain just has to run its course. Which is hard because I want to fix it.
I love games! Sid and I like Scrabble and Euchre. Uno is fun too, but with Uno it's more fun with more people.

Good morning, We really got out of the house this weekend. Friday night was our favorite Indian restaurant, and last night was Bone Fish Grill, then on Wed we met another friend at a lovely Italian Place that we have not been to in years. And Tuesday is my day, I see my trainer and then I will stop in at the casino on my way home. They have "free Play" on certain days and it's usually between $ 30 and $100, but this Tuesday its between 30 and 1,000 with my luck I'll probably se 30 ha ha. And gym this afternoon. Joe has already left for church, so it's peace and quiet here..and my BP has been very very under control, Just took my first reading of the day, about an hour after my regular meds 106/85/92 Hope everyone has a great day

so glad your bp is behaving! btw, i got the ultrasonic cleaner yesterday and am impressed w/results. did glasses and several batches of gold and silver. silver turned out great. i did take a jewelry cleaning cloth to some traditional navajo hoops ahead of time, i had not worn in years, not exactly tarnished but they came out looking great, only 5 min. i have not tried any turquoise jewelry yet, need to know if the stones are okay

It would take me all day to do everything, so when I'm changing stuff, I give it the quite 5 minutes first. Love the machine
