I had to change all my passwords and dump ALL my cookies, some found on the dark web per a health care site hack. Pain in the you know what. Had a hard time logging in to some sites, proboards one. Took forever for some pages to load. Bad timing with the challenges but all is done.

Happy Birthday to the June babies! You were conceived with turning leaves in the background or in "Indian Summer" (a term from my youth) heat shimmer. My brother Van (not the one in Canada) celebrated 73 yesterday. My mother's birthday was June 13th and I have never met another with her birthday, Huronna. Her name was Helen. I am happy to think of you celebrating on it! Happy birthday to you as well Roni, and your Grandson too. My Aunt, born on Feb 8th, was really hoping I would be born on her day - and I was one day early. I wonder if you were the same? I hope all the June babies and June Brides have happy days and everyone else has just plain good days for the heck of it.
We can do one day, right? I know some of us aren't at our best, I did read back enough to have supportive wishes to send to Flagryl on that reverse shoulder surgery (I know someone who has excellent results with that.) Congrats to Grassy for all your achievements! Gentle pats for Margie; hope you come by and get hugs often. Good wishes for positive med results for Mary. Happy thoughts about silk getting out and about. SMH and good luck thoughts for Tilly. And OMG, Hur, a boatload of strength and all the good JuJu for Joe and for you as you race around trying to stabilize things again. Yikes! FYI: I had a good day today. I promise to come report tomorrow.
~~~~~Waves~~~ and HUGS!
I'm glad you are improving Milyn, that's a relief but I know the recovery will go on. Hang in there.
I was sent home from PT today. My PT was sent home just before I arrived because she was ill, flu? So I wore my mask into the grocery store afterwards, can't afford to get sick just before my surgery.
The wife of a long-time friend, well both were friends from HS, died after a long battle w/Alzheimer's. She was in the class behind me. Her brother died from Alzheimer's at an even younger age, he had a more advanced version. Scary.
The deer are back and hanging around, look very healthy. Saw a female coyote yesterday. By the looks of her teets she has pups somewhere.
Glad you had a good say Milyn, Sorry about your friend Flagryl . I've been around but a lot scarcer than usual. Joe did come home on Thursday and was really exhausted, slept most of Friday. SUnday we took a ride to find the new clinic where he had a 4 hour appt on Monday. Stupid google maps had not updated the address yet, and directed us on a wild goose chase. So we drove to the hospital and picked up Joe's car. Went to dinner. Monday and today were more appts, and then we just got back from going grocery shopping. He must have felt pretty good, because he wanted to go with me. Each day seems a wee bit better. Tomorrow after the cleaning people I have to take my car into the shop, I sense something is just not right. and Thursday I going to be my day, going to see my trainer late, between 4-5 and then I am taking some me time and going to the casino. As long as nothing else craps on my head LOL
I'm sorry Flagryl. One loss brings back the other. Hard times. Good luck Huronna... I hope you have good "me" time. today has not been the best, but that's ok. Tomorrow is PT followed by my annual )full body cancer check) dermatology appt that will be interesting - since I have less body to check out and cancer history now. Trying to get my toenails clipped...
I always feel great after my pedicure. Been going to the same girl for 3 years. She is the first and only on that has ever touch my feet. She is a great artist also and always adds something unique to my big toe nail. And the massage of my legs is like heaven .
I am here. Happy Birthday, June Babies! My parents would have celebrated their 64th Wedding Anniversary June 13th. He died shortly after their 32nd anniversary.
Things have changed a bit around here. My mama is about to turn 90 (in July) and she has begun to fall a lot. She needs companionship and more frequent wellness checks. My sister is a cardiac/heart transplant nurse and she believes our mama might be near her transition towards end of life. I feel bad - not because my mama is going to die (and indeed my mama is not upset by that either) but because my mama feels like she is not herself anymore and she feels isolated because we kids don't understand what she is going through because we are not there yet.
Milyn, how are you doing?
Flagryl, I am so sorry for your losses.
Yesterday when I was driving I felt a slight hesitation when I wanted to accelerate quickly to pass another car. It was just for a 1/2 split second, but it had never happened before. SO I called the Toyota dealer and took my car in this morning at 10. I was there until after 3 PM, worn out to say the least. They did all the computer diagnostics and could find nothing wrong, so finally they reset the computer system. Driving home I tried to imitate the same thing and it didn't happen, so maybe that fixed it, hope so any way. So I just tubed a couple new Emma's. They are getting harder and harder to do and I am doing less of them, of course there are still hundreds to pick from. I should be around tomorrow until about 3:30, then I'm going to see my trainer, then going to met a friend at the casino who I have not seen in a very long time. I already looked at the zone entries and have my picks (many of them). Surprised that Jackie got them up real early, nice. Ok will drop in later.
Good afternoon. Happy birthday to all our June babies... Flagryl, I'm very sorry you've lost another friend. I had a CT Scan yesteray but couldn't have the iodine due to my kidney disease. I await results. Milyn so glad you're improving. Huronna, Glad there was no serious problem with your car. Hello Margie...so good to see you Ben and Steph took a two day cruise to Sydney and Ben took these wonderful photos. If using them Photo Ben
The Sydney Opera House at night, been on the dinner cruise passing it by twice, each time I have been to Sydney. That Harbour is so beautiful with the Harbour bridge at one end and the Opera House the other. What was the CT scanning? Yes I am noisey. I have an ECHO scheduled to check out my beating heart LOL
And both times I met Janet B, who I met on line when Dragon Lair tubes was around, she was also one of the original members of the Zone, back in the MSN days, same as Tilly. We actually met in the same restaurant both times and had a love day with "our mates" as they say there.
Good to know you're looking after that wonderful heart of yours Huronna. There is something going on with me, plus the serious weight loss. Doctor wants to know what we might be dealing with.
My favorite brother Gary has passed away; the infection progressed into his body and invaded his lungs and other organs. I'm glad that he is not suffering any longer; his life had become such a prison, but life will be different without his jovial presence a phone call away. I'll just have to pretend he's busy and I can't call him right now. I'm tired of hard things happening. Here is a rare all four happy faces Christmas photo. Gary and I are on the right. Second child Van and my younger sister Lori are on the left. Attachments:
I saw what Atbee did with the photos, magnificent work. I think we have to change his name to Mr. Miracle man. You brother sure looked like a happy soul. I bet he made a great Santa at Christmas. May he be in peace now.
