QUICK UPDATE: we are home, he was discharged at 6, very long day, he is exhausted from everything and so am I. Will update more tomorrow

So happy to hear that you were able to bring Joe Home. That should give you some relief. Remember to take care of yourself while you are nursing him back to health. I am sure that being at home in familiar surroundings will do a world of good in the healing process and he is more comfortable.
