Okay so animation shop doesn’t work in iPad - thanks for trying, I guess I just have to wait until I get the laptop in Dec, I think the Elves are bringing me one, and if they don’t, then I will bite the bullet and go and buy one, every time I bring that up I get weird comments, so I think the elves, but then the elves have led me astray before….
So it’s funny, after living near the ocean most of my life and living in Fiji and Solomon Islands, etc, I find the thought of going anywhere there’s a resort, ocean or beach the last choice, I guess sometimes the salt air just becomes too salty lol…and I’m sick of sweating because I’m standing outside, humidity is atrocious here, lol, …. I’m all about mountains and unusual places to go, these days…. Although doing the Alaskan Cruise is #1 on my list, which once we are done with the bowling tournament vacations, that will be the the first trip, I’ve been told even in summer it’s pretty chilly so don’t expect to use the swimming facilities on the ship, don’t pay for any tours that require flying, and take at least 1 winter jacket, socks and boots lol…. Seems perfect to me lol.. Sandals sounds fun, without kids, but Cherokee,, seems better lol…

Dee, if you are going to buy a new PC be sure to get one with enough memory. 8 G is recommended. I have 16. Also, we have had extensive discussions here about what PSP version to use, especially if you want to utilize plugins for animation. Huronna sticks w/PSP v8 and I have PSP v10 and x4. Frankly, I wouldn't go beyond 10. I do have a link to a free version of PSP 10. Let me know. Many of the older, neater plugins are not adaptable with the newer/current versions of PSP. Corel now builds their PSP programs to compete with Adobe Photoshop with adaptation to photography. If you want to do crafting and make tags using your wonderful AI art and do animation, the older versions work much better and don't require as much memory so not as taxing on your computer. You could get by w/8G, though 16 and you're racing.

PS There are some free older versions available online, but too many are try and buy. Mine is pure. Before you set up your computer, sure to read the info I have over at AD: angelsdesign.proboards.com/board/24/tips-tricks-pspIf you can, buy a PC that doesn't come with a variety of try and buy programs. And when installing programs, install PSP first starting with your oldest version you want if you install more than one version.

I just had the very strangest thing happen. I opened up Facebook and on my home pages there were 20+ (I stopped counting) posts that I had actually posted but back in 2021 and 2022. Joe was walking into the den so I asked if to look at this as I thought I was going crazy. Sometimes a person will see something old and "share it" and it shares back to you but al these was crazy. So I closed FB and reopened it and Whala ha ha, everything was back to normal. I think the gremlins from AS migrated to me FB page.

they were all the same month, but when they try to report an image it's usually only one, and I don't ask them to repost. this was almost a months work of posting. it's back to normal now, don't know what in the world it was

Ha ha, usually I get reported and banned for stuff that gets reposted like that. Facebook is weird sometimes. Since I changed to posting only cartoons and pictures of Dove Cat, I haven't gotten into any trouble.

I don’t use Facebook, I have it, but my friends all kept asking me,” oh Dee what did you post on FB the other day” and I kept replying “nothing” this went on for several months, I thought they were crazy, so I finally logged onto my FB and there were all these posts of cards etc, I was shocked, because I took the pictures, I made the cards, but I did not post them on FB. However I learned my Instagram, (owned by FB) whenever I posted a photo of my work to that, would also post it to FB….. I just felt stupid not knowing FB and Insta were linked lol.. So I still technically do not use FB,
I also learned that FB even after you delete your account or you remove some or all your photos etc, FB Retains them in their Database and then can do what they want with them, which I think is wrong, especially images of children etc, you sign that when you agree to their TOS when you join FB.
I stopped using FB in 2016/17 when it just got too politicized and every other post showing up was all about spreading hatred and which party is worse etc, it was nothing short of disgusting from both sides, and I got sick of my friends from both sides arguing and fighting, on FB that bled into Real Life which to me has always been weird, as I was raised to never discuss religion or politics publicly, Anyhoots 2016/17 became the year I watched too many friendships fall apart because of FB posts, so sad really, I haven’t returned to that platform as a poster or peruser and never will. A lot of my friends accounts have been hacked on FB, and some of the things posted were really awful, and a lot of scams going on, which also led them to have a lot of personal information, put out there, like a friend of mine who lost her baby and was privately messaging her best friend in Canada about everything she went through, hackers put that as her main posts for a week, because it took FB that long to not only remove it but give her, her account back, it was horrible.
I also know there was a group operating in Florida who used FB as a means to know if people were on vacation and once they had the info, they would then rob their homes, they hack the FB get access to their email, etc… it’s such a scary world, nothing is sacred anymore, especially our identities.
If I could have FB messenger without FB that would be great, as I use FB messenger once a month to check in with friends in Aussie, and that’s the only use I get from FB,
I was also stalked on FB in 2005 via a neighbor in FarmVille and it was months of horrible posts, it didn’t matter what I did to block the person, remove the posts, they would be back with worse things, if I deleted 1 post - 100 posts of porn or gross images would show up, FB couldn’t fix it, they tried but my stalker was better then them, so they told me to create a new account under a fake name, not to add any family or friends I had from my old account for at least 6 months, so I did, 9 years later in 2014 they banned my account for using a fake name not my real name, lol That took 5 months for them to fix although they refused to let me keep my fake name account and I had to go back to my real name.
So… FB fan or not, you be the judge lol

It sure was cold this morning. slept in flannel pj's and put on a bathrobe. I would never make it in South Dakota , just got back from the gym and now eating a sandwich Facebook was also the down fall of many Graphic sites. People got addicted to it's platform and wound up spending all there time there. Even some of out non-taggers cfound it easier to chat there. And I agree, there for a while it was overrun with politics and augments, I just unfollowed those people, I do post my tags and I belong to a lot of cruise ships groups, to keep up on the goings on there. A wonderful would of information for me. I usually look to see what my friends are doing in the wee hours of the night, when I trying to get tired for sleep LOL And I do use messenger a lot, that an easy way to keep up with friends overseas. And the other day a friend who was visiting in Spain, used it with the audio and called. That was a first for me, no roaming phone charges, just good wifi.

Messenger is very helpful. Well! It's been a whirlwind here and I've missed some neat WWOs but we had a great time w/family and celebrating John's 80th birthday. Drew and family were here, hikes to Walker Lake and Hart Prairie and a book gig they were able to attend at REI. Lemon Curd Cheesecake was a hit. Did all the laundry yesterday while the workers finish up painting the trim for all the skylights, here today so I did all my AD challenges and I have my next AL challenge done as well. Whew!! We got our Covid and Flu shots today and will get the RSV in a couple of weeks.

Yes, when you sign up to use Facebook, you are agreeing to turn over all your posted photos and videos to them. Everything you post becomes their property. People post sometimes that Facebook doesn't have their permission to use their posts, but that is simply not true per that original service agreement. I am so sorry you got stalked Dee. I used to post a lot of political things, but I was getting Facebook Jail all the time. When I got Dove Cat, I changed what I post and I have not been in any trouble since then. I was on Instagram for about five minutes. I decided if it's already posting on Facebook, I might as well just stay on Facebook.
Flagryl, busy busy eh!
I had my lung/chest CT done today too. It was a beautiful fall drive to get to the imaging center two hours north of us. The doctor (pulmonology specialist) wanted it done in his healthcare system. I already got results. The growth in the lung (Son of Stimpy) is stable - no growth and no infection. And - check this out - the tumors in my lymphatic system have SHRUNK! All of them! Hot diggity! Some have shrunk as much as .5 cm! So I am getting even better!

WOW WOW, that is great Grassy. I don't see my pulmonologist until April, this is the third year in a row for a CT of lungs and pulmonology test. If no changes this time (that makes 3 years in a row) then they consider me no longer a Lung CA risk from smoking. WOO HOO!, It's been over 13 years now and not even a desire for a drag.
How is the job going?

I don't start work until Monday. It is a seasonal gig at Joann's. I am pretty stoked about it. Enough cash to buy gifts and make fancy food and spoil Dove Cat. And it's part time so still time to look for a permanent job. This is my regular seasonal job that I always do.
This is the first year in about six years that they (pathology report) have not mentioned that mysterious lung condition that begins with a B that I can never remember.

Good afternoon everyone. Hadn't been in for October yet and Grassy peeked my interest in one of the WWO threads saying she remembered tail-gating at an Auburn Game, War Eagle... Grassy, I was born in Auburn in 1950 and graduated from there with a Masters in 1996. Are you still in the area? FB... I deactivated my account in 2020 and just reactivated it about 2 weeks ago. No instagram account, deleted that and Pinterest when I deactivated FB. we all have phones and we all know they listen to everything, even when the phone is off. talk about buying new sheets with someone in your home, go to FB and immediately see ads for Sheets LOL Thanks to all of you who offer WWO's here. I wouldn't have a collection of different sigs if it weren't for yall.

That is such good news Grassy and Huronna too. Julien was given the all clear but I am still apprehensive. It's always nervous making when it's test time. He will get his teeth fixed that the chemo wrecked. Good about having some work Grassy. Best wishes to everyone. I am still having a lot of pain and not much sleep. It was so bad that Joe had to help me into bed. My Doctor is away until 31st Oct.

Thank you Huronna. I had to see another doctor whilst mine is away. This one doesn't believe in opiates. Obviously never had a pain in his young life. It should be straightened out when my doctor is back..in the meantime...lots of teeth gritting. There were ten roos on the lawn today ...they must be so hungry. Still no rain. Six Sulphur Crested Cockatoos. Joe put an extra bird bath on the front garden. Our neighbour has given a home to a young woman and her Autistic daughter until they can find an affordable house. So heart warming. I am getting my sets for the auction ready. Two Rosellas feeding outside my computer room glass doors.

Silk, I don't have the excruciating pain that you have, but I walk like a bent over old lady with my arthritis in the morning when I get up., but about 30 minutes after I take my meds everything is back to semi-normal. My doc writes a years prescription for every thing, each renewal is for 3 months and come automatically.Maybe when you see your doc, have him make the script renewable. Around 3 this morning Joe started talking in his sleep. Scared the poop out of me, We sleep with out bedroom door open unless we have company. When we had ferrets it was always closed. But it's been 3 years now and no ferrets. He has never talked in his sleep, so I thought it was real. "the doors unlocked" "it' open" "there's no cardboard under it" My heart was going a million miles a minute. and I woke him up, he didn't know what the heck I was talking about. He went right back to sleep and remained quiet, while my heart was still thumping for a few more minutes. What a night. Sure hope it doesn't get repeated.

I’m glad everyone is doing good health wise, Silk I hope your reg Dr sorts you out when he returns, nothing worse then never ending pain. I just started really noticing I guess arthritic or rheumatoid pain in my fingers on my bowling hand early 2022, it’s progressively getting worse, so I’m sure my bowling days are getting limited fast… or I am just a sissy la la!! I just returned to bowling after 4 weeks away, finally felt well enough to go after being out with the virus and found out Tues the virus I had was meningitis, which was a bit of a shock. So bowled pretty terrible for me, but was weak and exhausted by the time we got half through game 1 lol, and I had to bowl 2 more games, it will take about 4-6 weeks to get my form back, and oh my gosh every muscle in my body hurts, I couldn’t walk yesterday lol…. My birthday Monday was uneventful and pretty low key, just how I like it… I have made backgrounds I am hoping are useful for you all on my Fotki, feel free to use them Dees Fotki public.fotki.com/Deezaster/I’ve been trying to pepper out images for fall and Christmas to help Huronna, who’s on a Tube break, but even if they don’t get used, I still love making them lol…. Also PLEASE sign up for your Christmas Cards, I’m heading to Hobby Lobby, Michaels, and Joann’s etc tomorrow for last minute bits n bobs and will be starting to make them over the weekend. Go to the post and PM me Christmas Cards animationlessons.proboards.com/thread/38086/christmas-cardsThanks for the helpful hints on PC ‘s I will be having a browse tomorrow while we are out and about.. Stay well everyone, be safe and happy creating 🫶🏻🫶🏻

Silk, I am so sorry for your pain. I hope your regular doc can come back soon and fix it all. Julien being cancer free is Champagne popping news. Yay!
Dee, my mama used to make Christmas cards before she discovered quilting. It was quite a production at Christmas.
Tilly, I hope you are having fun.
Huronna, how are you doing? How is the shower working?
Life is pretty great here. I had my psychiatrist appointment today, and that went well. My meds are finally well regulated. I see pulmonology tomorrow. I hope he will send me back to my Family Health lady, whom I love. Sid has cut out some fabric to make me some skirts so I have newer dressy clothes to wear for work. I can't sew. I can make jewelry, but I can't sew except for mending and such.

We are getting out first company this weekend, do that should be the trial. Dee, meningitis? Holy hannah, how did you find that out. Do you know what Kind? not that I'm nosey but I worked in micro and clinical lab for 55 years and always interested in those things.
Though I said I was taking a tubing break, I did for 36 hours LOL. I was going in overload, picking up everything. No I'm a lot more selective. If I know it's going to take tones of time and work, I might do a mist or just pass it by. I think I did 8 of yours today and about 8 of Leonarda's yesterday.

Huronna they didn’t say which kind of Meningitis I had, just that it is what I had, she told to know more they would have needed to do the spinal tap, which I had already said No “I don’t want that, unless absolutely necessary” I’m guessing they figured it out from the blood work, plasma, etc they took and had already sent off when I was In Hospital. I am A very bad patient, I never complain, I never ask questions, but when it comes to needles of any kind, even blood drawing, I will try to talk them out of giving me anything that involves a poke. When I had my heart attack Thanksgiving Day 2021, I’m in hospital and they had to use ultrasound on my arms to find veins to use to draw blood and put Ivs into, I had serious issues with them being able find useable veins to get the Ivs in etc, by the time I went home my arms were black and blue from the bruising, veins kept collapsing, they struggled finding a vein…. Poke poke poke a lot of useless poking to get nothing, Horrible I still have this weird pain in my arm after they did the Cath in my wrist, so it’s from my wrist to half way up my arm, if you, push on that area it feels bruised, and the pain feels like something’s in my vein stretching it, I don’t know how else to describe it lol, I am Unsure why I have it. 5 days after I got home from hospital after the Heart Attack, I managed to put a 2.5 inch sewing needle, “eye end first” into the side of my hand through to my pointer finger, through the tendon into the bone and snap it in half…” a long story” leaving the needle broken off inside my hand. And did t realize it was in my hand until the X-ray, lol I mean I think I knew the day after but I believed I got stabbed it broke and fell into the carpet, boy was I wrong. Needless to say, I had to go back into hospital 4 days later and have it surgically removed Not the best idea, so don’t try that at home. A lot of babbling to just say and that’s why I don’t know what kind, because I said No to having a needle in my spine lol Dee 1 - Spinal Tap - 0 i know it’s not animated, but i thought it was giggle worthy.
