Can you believe that 9 months have already passed in 2023, Gads! 

With a blink of an eye, here it is October And Halloween is soon here, to be quickly followed by Christmas

Silk, since the graphic says Chit Chat Bar....The other day my husband did the liquor store and bought 2 different bottles. He prefers Di Amore which is anise with white elderberry petals. IT's good but not as smooth as Romana, which is my favorite. Maybe it too smooth HA HA. I can go months without having it in the house, but when there is a bottle, I have a little glass (About a shot or 1 1/2 shots) over crushed ice almost every evening around 10 PM. Last me about an hour as I take wee little sips to savor it. I used to drink a lot of wine in the evenings, but now I think the only time I have wine is when we dine out, or when we have certain company where the ladies also love Pinot.

I got rejected for that job I interviewed for last week, but they stated that they couldn't provide any feedback for why I was rejected. At least they replied. I have applied for lots of jobs and have heard bupkis back from them. That makes me kind of mad. Ha ha.

I get to go visit my mama today. I am excited.

I hope the Minnesota Vikings can notch a win today too.

hi guys! We went to Mom's for late lunch with 2 of my Sisters. One lives close, the other came from SE Ohio for the weekend. My other sister defected to Arizona this week! Today would have been my Parent's 68th wedding anniversary. Emotional day for me, but I am OK!

I suppose the Pittsburg pukes oh I mean Squealers were on here but I don't watch it. LOL  Not a fan of them anyways.  Goes back a long ways.  Sorry Joe, I just can't force myself!  LOL

Can you believe the Vikings won today? It was sort of bittersweet because they won off a team who traded a good player who did not ever want to leave Minnesota. 

I had a beautiful visit with my little Mama and my big brother today.

I lived in a suburb of Pittsburgh called Squirrel Hill when I attended CMU for a summer writers' workshop. I had a ball living there. Really good food and the most kind people ever.

I am originally from Erie, so the Steelers are good to me. No offense Mary, and of course I love you. I am crazy about football, but it's just a game. Friends are friends. There is another lady on the Zone who loves a team I can't stand and we have a fun time teasing each other. Ha ha.

have access to four through the art department at BW college, Nightcafe, Midjourney, Jasper and another one that I log in through the college at 4 am i went into each one used the same prompt and these are what i got.....

How odd. Now there are png on transparent, but AI only makes on solid background.
Do you use an AI background clearing program to get them transparent? I'd be curious to see what the original look like before you got it transparent
Remember we do have a "thing " about cleavage here, being the most prude site on the web, there are certain things we don't allow. Will let it go this time as it's very slight and a learning situation LOL

It is Date Day when Sid gets back from the lab. We're going to make the house payment and then to Nupa for our favorite lunch and then to Target and then to the Pharmacy. I usually eat ensalada Capreze, but I may try something new. I don't know. It's hard to beat Ensalada Capreze. And they have this delicious water infused with cucumber. Yum!

Checking in for October. Where did the time go? Hubby and myself will celebrate 34 years on October 11th. Also my oldest son Chris will turn 48 on the 22nd. My mom would be 102 lf she lived. Her birthday would have been October 6th.

Well today began the bathtub/shower conversion to a walking shower. It will be completed tomorrow. Amazing what they are doing.
This is what it will look like when completed, color is a bit lighter in real life though.

After having my hair done today we went to our local bottle shop and bought A bottle of Sambuca for me. Then sat on the deck ...me with that and Joe with his Port. A little dose of spirits for my spirits.

Not much is happening here. I had a phone interview. I was supposed to hear back today if I was hired. So far, my phone has been obstinately silent. Grrrr. I have another interview next week, though, the day after I have my root canal/crown. And the day before I get my Covid/Flu shot.

How is everyone?

On Sunday, we broke a record with 92 degrees and they cancelled the Twin Cities Marathon. Now it is 39 degrees and raining.

The doors we ordered turned out not to be feasible. The is no way that Joe in the seated area, would have space to squiggle through that side.
So she called the shop and they had brushed nickel in doors that only open on one side and is coming back on Sunday, her day off to install them.

Not much is happening here - just Autumn arranging. Watched some gymnastics. Love Simone Biles.
