Only news today is I did a bunch of AI imagens and loaded them on Angels. Also finally made it to the gym. Boy it sure had been a long time and I am really out of shape.

Flagryl, I am sorry about John's face, but happy about your shoulder surgery. I hope you feel better soon.

I don't want to do this, but it's time. Biggest challenge will be for me to arrange for meals. Am thinking about a combo of restaurants here for pick up and perhaps some delivery options. Of course, John says Pizza every night, kidding.

I can't believe I skipped over your surgery date I was reading about all the different shakes. Suggestion, you know I don't cook, but there are some really excellent frozen meals. And easy Peasie. Michael Angelo frozen meals and Stouffers makes really taste Italian meals. Joe loves their eggplant parm, and the manicotti is great. You might try one before you can't cook. John pours the wine and pops thing in the microwave. I'm not keen on delivery as you never know how long it's been around and reheated.
Will you be in the hospital for a while? Rehab or PT afterwards. At home or will you have to have John take you someplace. Not a way to celebrate my birthday (June 13th) , Make sure John can contact me to keep us all updated. of maybe you have a phone that you can talk to and it will post? A guy on Vikki's site does that.

I have requested the surgery in the hospital with a one-night stay because many of the pain meds don't work with my body, not even Tylenol. Rehab/PT will be arranged. I am going to see if I can have it at home until I'm mobile. I don't normally eat highly processed or high carb foods, but can't be choosey in these circumstances. I'll take your advice and try them out.
I just discovered I can buy some adaptive shirts with snaps on the shoulder and down the sides, think I'll get at least 2. I'll most likely be in the sling for 6 weeks. Because I've had repair on this shoulder before in 2015, he's doing a Reverse. Not worth the detail to explain. Mostly concerned about my back because of the right hip issues, so will need some PT for my hip/legs to keep them from getting tight and then hurting my back. They are all related.
I'm going to try to get my challenges done ahead of time, may not do them myself but may be able to provide for others.

My friend had that surgery a couple of years ago, she wound up buy men's gargantuous T-shirts that would cover the sling. She's out of town, I'll try and get more information from her via e-mail.

HI all hope everyone is doing ok, sending my best hugs.
My sister has just had a week off day service because she tested positive for Covid, the first couple of days she felt rough but has been ok since, although we don't have any rules as such for covid now and many dont even test if they are ill, i thought it best to keep her home. The test is faint today so not long and she will be back to normal again. Its my friends funeral tomorrow the place has live streaming so i will watch it on their website rather than travel and mix with people. I also had sad news that my cousin passed away, he felt chest pains and went to hospital, they found a clot in his lung so put him in a coma to try and repair it but it didn't work and was to late to help and he just slipped away. very shocked as he was fairly healthy and only the same age as me at 57. I have many good memories of him. I am dog sitting my friends dog until Sunday morning, he is a whippet named Blue and has been really good although he can be stubborn.

Flagryl I am sorry that you don't want the surgery (who ever does). I was happy hoping it would help your pain and make you feel better.
Sid bought me a Samsung watch for my birthday. If I am out riding my trike and fall or get hit by a car, the watch will automatically call 911 and send help. I am excited to get it, but I am worried I won't know how it works and won't be smart enough to use it.
There's nothing new here. Dove Cat is so cute.

Tilly, that's a huge load...your sister w/Covid, death of your cousin and your friend. That's a big load so I hope you are doing okay and you don't come down w/Covid again. My heart goes out to you. Grassy, I'm resolved with this and planning ahead, it's the best course. It's realistic to be concerned about issues w/new trike...relax and enjoy.
I have arranged for PT in my home after surgery and am planning meals, thanks Huronna we will try your options.
Surprise snow and sleet and rain today with thunderstorms, oh my!

Tilly, so sorry for the stress and sadness. That is a lot to take in right now. You will be in my meditations.
Flagryl, I think we are supposed to be getting your weather this weekend in the form of rain and storms. We need the rain desperately, but sometimes when it comes all at once, it sluices right off, so I hope the rain comes in bands and not a huge deluge.

Here's one real easy tasty meal that you can freeze, in fact last night I had taken our a container that was in the freezer. I often make this when expecting company and I don't know what time they are arriving. I have two crock pots, one quite large and one that hold about 2. as much. I but boneless chicken breasts, I just rinse them off first so it there are ice crystals one them, they are gone. Then put them in a crock pot and cover with a jar of picante sauce. I don't like hot foot, so I use mild.Turn on the crock put and go about your business. I usually start it around 10-11 in the AM and but 5-6, the chicken is as tender as can be. I usually serve it over jasmine rice, sometimes I toss in some cheddar cheese in the crock pot. The last time I had a bunch of ric left over so I mixed that with the left over chicken in the sauce and froze it. Last night I just thawed out the container, didn't even have to make rice, because it was already there., then just reheated. if all thawed I just use reheat on the microwave. Great left overs and nothing else needs to be cooked.
Tilly sorry about sis getting covid, glad she got over it pretty quickly. Joe had it one our left cruise and it really debilitated him, I caught it, after all ai was the only one in the room taking care of him but I was lucky, just a pos test, but no symptoms at all. nothing.
SO sorry about your cousin, 57 wow, that sure is young. I don't even remember that age anymore.

That sounds good. I've not used picante sauce but I've done the same with mild Tomatillo Salsa Verde. Haven't tried that in a while, will put it on my list. I have some nice freezer to micro containers so could make a batch and freeze left over for dinner. Thank you.
Grassy, we had snow up here yesterday and then hard rain and sleet. Sunny this morning but more snow on the way.
Tilly, I hope you don't get covid again. Stay safe.

Mary, are you OK? I just saw the news and all those tornadoes in Iowa! Yikes! Do we have any Nebraska friends? Omaha and Lincoln areas appear to have been hit too.

Mary is in Ohio, but lots of thunderstorms there. We have SNOW here, it's like a Symphony watching the snow swirl hard and then soft and then coming down gently and than getting violent from the NW and the the SW. Not quite Beethoven, Mozart perhaps.
I'm wondering how Milyn is doing, saw her post on FB about the drains being out, a good report but still wondering.
John is taking a load of our papers from my recent purge to the court house for shredding. I want doing to do with buying and operating one of those shredders and then have to recycle, pain in the you know what. They do this a couple of times a year and it will even take staples.

Margie is in Iowa. Has anybody heard from her? I know one of us is in Iowa? Gosh it is awful, those storms. We've just gotten rain so far. It is supposed to get heavy for us tonight. Sorry about your snow, Flagryl. I guess winter just wants one more last hurrah. Loved your symphony analogy. Huronna I hope you get rain.
Nothing new here. Dove Cat is 2 today, so we celebrated her birthday.

Good morning friends...I've read posts. Lots of problems for most I'm sorry to learn. My very best wishes. Thanks to everyone who sends good wishes to me. I managed to get two sets done for the auction...I really had to rack my brain to remember parts of psp and AS. Going to look at Hur's A1 work. Does anyone know how to enlarge the icons on my task bar? Suddenly they are to small. Life is still difficult. I am as skinny as a rake. Beautiful A1 work Huronna.
