Margie, are you taking the vitamins for MD? My cleaner takes them. Glad you are doing okay Angel and that you, Huronna, are back to the gym. Doc says my hip has issues so off to PT again.
Arbee, I am glad Win 11 is working on your laptop. I did the upgrade a while back is all is okay. You know if you ever want PSP 8, I have it in Dropbox. PM me and I'll give you the link.

Aww Margie... Very sorry about the MD problem with your eyes. I hope it slows. Roni; you have a history of making Spring Comebacks; I hope that pattern runs true this year too. Huronna; I'm glad you are back at the gym. Mary; passing tissues with Aloe and hoping the changing season brings a lighter heart. Silk; you are always in the back of my mind, like a happy bird pecking seeds of energy. Flagryl; thank you for everything; I hope your PT helps. My hip sends good wishes to yours! Leaving extra packets of good wishes for all to snag as needed. (The Lavender smelling ones are nice!) You are all very special to me. HUGS!
Tomorrow morning we drop the cat for 4 days of boarding and head north 3 hours for my pre-op dye injections which I hear are painfully done through the nipple tons of fun! Later we'll have some kind of dinner, probably salmon, and I will try to get a good nights sleep. Sometime on Tuesday I will have my surgery. Steve will probably email Huronna and and/or post on FB using my phone. I will post when I can; maybe late in the hospital Tues or on Weds (after I am released) during the 4 hour drive home.
A nurse friend will stop by and check on me on Weds eve. And then there will be just the process of recovery in my recliner and on the sofa bed.
Wish me luck!

As soon as I see something from Steve, I’ll brink the update here. Don’t eat too much on Tuesday night. Sounds like you have everything organized and are ready. We all will be thinking of you, and await your return We love you 😍

Hello my precious Tigerlilies! What's up? How are you all? Sending each and every one of you love and spring wishes. It's been so beautiful here the past couple days - I have been riding my trike and learning how to steer and getting better at it.
Margie, so sorry for the MD. Huronna, glad you had a great day and could get back to the gym. Flagryl, sorry about the hip. Arbee, I changed operating systems and can't get PSP 10 to work at all, but 9 works like a champ, so you are very smart to get 10 working. I think I am running 11 or 12 or some such. Smilyn, best of everything on Tuesday. I will be saying extra special prayers for you. Roni, I hope better health comes your way.
I think about all of you every day and wonder how you all are even if I don't chat.
I am being bothered by terrible anxiety. It happens to me in the spring. It is part of bipolar disorder for me. It is yucky and not fun. I hope it goes away soon.

Waves and HUGS! Thank you Huronna... I feel terribly disorganized. And I know I won't eat much. I'm supposed to eat a ton of protein but it's not all that easy. I think it will be Sashimi tonight near the hospital. And I will be drinking Gatorade in the morning . Mom would be happy! I will manage. Much love back. Everyone stay out of trouble till I get back. OK? Grassy... I like the bright and breezy part of Spring, but when pollen, sweat, and bugs arrive I'm over everything till Fall. Hurricane season, heat, humidity, an bug bites take all the fun out of everything in between. I think it is part of my general Cantankerous disorder. Sigh.

Hello all, just popping in as i have some time to post. It seems my days just are busy, more off the internet than on except to check facebook quickly. I have had a dear friend pass away over the weekend who had terminal pancreatic cancer, very sad when it happens, still she is free from pain now bless her. I just Booked a week away at the local coastal holiday site for the end of June, and a few coach day trips out and about.
Hope everything goes well Smilyn and the recovery is speedy. sending good vibes your way and hugs..
Hope all goes well with the PT Flagryl..

Thanks all for your kind words about my MD. I don't know they make a vitamin for that. I will indeed look into that Flagrly. It's been a rough week so far because of my eyes. But doing the best we can. I'm hoping to get to Iowa City and see what they can do for me. Otherwise I'm trying to stay positive and pray that I will be okay.

I have always felt that attitude is one of the best medicines. And you have a great one, always positive not matter what.

Hello all... Waving from the waist and checking in on my PC. I haven't been using that; small things like typing added up. I am doing well. Some days have been hard, but there's a lot for the body to get over. I am resting a lot. My incisions are healing cleanly and my drains are producing less each day. I am on track to have them out on Friday. I don't know yet if the results are what I hoped for visually, but what needed to be removed was, So there's that. Don't know yet what the pathology report says, but the genetic testing shows no gene for any kind of cancer with one anomaly: a gene they don't yet recognize (I'm special) they will get back to me about if/when that is tagged. They say I am free from anything but a family specific inherited gene. Hmmm... and my maternal aunt had late breast cancer twice. I wonder if that anomaly is connected.
Anyway. Thank you for keeping me in your thoughts. I'm doing all the right things and resting is the biggest. I'm being very good at that. In fact; this is enough typing; I'm going back to resting now. I have wound care and telehealth later. HUGS and good wishes all around!

Hi Milyn! That all sounds great! Keep on a-truckin'. The rest is really important. I found that out the hard way because I did not rest. Positive energy is also essential.
Margie, I hope you can get to Iowa City too.
Panthera, your coastal holiday sounds lovely.
How is everyone doing?
Not much is happening here.
My big excitement today is going to the grocery store and trying to get a tag done. It is frightfully windy here so I can't ride my trike which is a bummer. Dove Cat is just as sweet as she can be. I had no idea cats were so great. She woke me up this morning by standing on my chest and meowing super loudly in my face. Ha ha ha. Everything she does is adorable. I think she might be a wee bit spoiled.

I'm sure it's anxious Milyn, waiting for the pathology report. You are doing so well, kudos to you. Margie, your doc should be able to guide you per the vitamins. You can google it, they are about the same on many notable sites like Mayo and Cleveland Clinic. Tilly, your coastal trip sounds fun. I wish they did that here. I hope the weather improves so you can ride your bike Grassy. Dove looks like a big girl now, goodness. Huronna, how are you and Joe doing? Silk?
I have a dermatologist appt today, my annual, and see the shoulder surgeon tomorrow. Truckin' along. Hummingbird males have arrrived. It's been in the 60s but looks like rain/snow this weekend. I'm taking care of some house maintenance stuff, having the windows washed and the gutters cleaned of all the pine needles beforehand. I think I'll have him wash down the house too. I used to hose the house but think I'll pass this spring.

Been following Milyn on Facebook, What a journey. They extended Joe for PT another month, that should do it I think. I also got him one of those machines, he loves it and used it when ever he is watching TV. After cancelling his Nero appt frun mid April to Mid May, they called again and there was a cancellation and he got in for this coming Tuesday. My car is to be ready this afternoon, I feel nekked without it. We are getting out house pressure washed Monday. First time actually. Also had to have our sprinkler fixed because the backyard section was not watering at all. Some cables were rotten, after all it's 23 years old. Guess that's why the flowers were looking a little ill. All fixed now. Changing the start time to 6 PM rather than middle of the morning. That way we will be able to easily see that things are working. Got enough entries for 2 auctions, about 15 in each so far, hoping for a couple more. Don't forget to add up your feathers from entries and also from your posts here at AL as well as AD. I've just been wandering around the web today, trying to figure out what to do. Added a bunch new tubes, Emma, Huronna and Crypto-creations

I have a Deskcycle too. Only problem is I don't have a chair I can dedicate for it other than the dining room chairs. You need the right height. I hope it works for him.

Oooooooo thanks for the new tubes Huronna! I will have a couple more auction entries for you too.
I hope for good outcomes at the derm and shoulder surgeon Flagryl.
Nothing new here - have an appointment with my therapist tomorrow. Can't wait. Am also trying to work out how to consume 350 calories with a medication I need 2 hours before bedtime without feeling full but with still getting enough calories to allow the medication to work and not going to bed hungry. I am also afraid of gaining weight.

Joe had a lift chair, had to get that when he came home from the times in the nursing home, bact in 2017. It's really the only chair he uses, if he accidently sits on the couch, he can't get up without help.

Just make sure this lift chair is the right height for the cycle, if not he'll be overly sore in the wrong places. Might try a dining table chair for time on the cycle. None of our living room chairs or even my quasi recliner in my office work.
Grassy, you might try a Luna bar [200 c] and a Premier Protein drink [160 c], both low sugar, fat and have good protein. I like the Premier Chocolate and the Caramel. Lots of choices w/Luna bar. Nice dessert combo. You can make the Choc drink a hot choc or iced in summer.

Got a shock this evening, Remember on our last cruise, Joe and I both gor Covid and were quarantines for 5 days each. Well the insurance paid for all the medical bills, and I thought that was it. Tonight I get another letter from then saying that they are reimbursing us each for each day that we were in quarantine., since that falls under Trip Interruption. Who knew and I never filled out any forms for that. They did ask for the quarantine papers but I thought that was for the medical. That's definitely a nice big piece of change coming that was unexpected. A really big chunk, not we have to get Joe better to cruise again.
Protein shakes, When I did Med-weight years ago, I fell in love with their cookies and cream shake and I still have one every morning and then a couple hours later I will have some type of breakfast , usually yogurt with fruit or something. Bed time here. Didn't get today's tag done, maybe will finish it tomorrow.

Oooooo I love cookies and cream too!
I had a Luna Lemon bar since we were out last night. Mmmmmmm delish! I also had a Premier Caramel shake, also yummy!
Had a blast with my family!
Had a great session with my therapist. This is only my second session with her, but I like her a super lot.

That's great. I'll look for cookies and cream. I usually have an Activa yogurt w/blueberries and OJ for breakfast and a Premier Protein drink for lunch and a normal dinner.
I have scheduled my shoulder surgery, June 11. Doc said I can see why you are here from the X-Ray. Must hurt. Yep. 2 new bone spurs, one on top and one on the side and the older one hanging down on the bottom. It's time.
Guy who does our gutters is going to also hose down the house and clean windows inside and out and clean the casings, we have a ton of windows but no second story except for the high fixed windows in the living room. Another guy is going to reseal our long blacktop driveway. Cha Ching
John's biopsy report came back and the big spot on his face is pre-cancerous, no surprise so it will have to be treated. I have a clean bill w/my derm as he didn't find anything.
Got another dozen of fresh eggs from a new neighbor, they are really tasty as well as beautiful. I get a haircut tomorrow.
