Oh Silk, feeling bad for several days is a real bummer. I hope that changes for you. Miss your lovely self. Mary, I wonder if there might be better alternatives for you in Ft. Wayne or Cleveland. I know it's farther away. I'll be interested to hear what the techs say about your computer, yes hope it's an easy fix. I suggest you write out your issues for Mike to take with him for the tech. Every little thing helps them. Grassy, oh dear. Not good. It would be good to get off your feet for a while. Huronna, your trip sounds wonderful. My daughter was an exchange student in Uruguay, the coast along there is beyond lovely around Montevideo. My SIL Susan talked for years about her trip to Antarctic.

I am off work tomorrow too, so I can rest another day. It will be OK.
Mary, I hope you can get with the doctor of your choice.
Silk, I am so sorry that you are feeling poorly. I hope you feel better fast.
Not much is happening around here tonight. It is unseasonably warm here. I will take it. We're having daytime highs in the low 60's F, which is 20 - 25 degrees above our November average. I had dandelions in my yard.

Sounds like everyone was not having the best of days today. I don't know where my day went, well I do, but it was all behind the scenes, so I won't bore you with it. I finally found a great looking tut, and as usual the image I wanted to use and what I would do with it. Finished the tut and it just did not come out like the header. What did I do wrong? so I pitched it and started all over again...same thing. She much have neglected a step or two, or maybe doing it in one of the new Corel's would result in something different. So I searched for another because i really wanted to use a certain image, Finally did that and just posted it. Got an update on our Nov Cruise, the way the header wrote I thought it was something really urgent. PFT! all it was was that we would leave Key West at 5:30 and not 6:30 ? not very earth shattering. Joe and I went to the gym, he had a pretty good day today. Hope tomorrow is also. Pedicure tomorrow, wonder what she will paint? I don't want a turkey, maybe something Christmasy. Wed I have my semi-annual GP visit.

Thank you everyone ., Still yuk but got up today for a while. Huronna, it's frustrating when a tut you love doesn't work out .No fault of yours. Sometimes I need to go to the original foreign language as I know you do. If it's the little girl on the horse it's lovely. Glad Joe had a good day. Grassy, how is your knee?

Silk, I have done so many tutorials and have saved many of the bases that when I come across a tut that I think is new, I always check my "background file" the one with the horse I saw today and thought, oh that is nice, I checked and had the background already saved, but a different color scheme. after working for aged on the one I binned, this was easy to do, except for the bouncing horse LOL Sorry you are feeling yucky still, now where is my magic wand?
Grassy how was your day off? Flagryl, are you finally able to relax a bit, is your house all finished now? I sure this has been more stressful than building it from the beginning. Mary, hope your friend can get your computer up and running. nothing is more stressful than wanting to do something and it going "crash". Hope that new medication will work for you. Dee, where are you? Have not see you in a while. Are you bowling tonight? That sure makes for a long night and long drive home. Be careful. Roni always love reading your thank yous, it really make a person feel good. Milyn, mailman picked up the card this morning. Margie, Bubs, always happy to see you when popping in.
Now off for my pedicure

What a morning...first the phone rings and my appt with my PCP is cancelled. What a hoot since they called both MOnday and Tuesday confirming it. Then they wanted to make a new one while I am cruising, told them no! I needed it next week the latest because I need to get all my meds renewed. Ok so they made one for Monday, at 9...the absolute worse time for them to try and check my BP because it is the highest in the am since my arthritis meds has not kicked in and my back is in pain about an 8 and of course that always ups up BP. Plus rushing in the am, makes it go up also, I always like the appt mid afternoon, after I had calmed and relaxed. Oh well. So then Joe said he needed his meds done. I took over doing that about 3 times ago because he was running out of meds and not purring things in the right slots. So here were go.....he had 17 different meds. some are twice a day, some are 1/2 pill, some at 1 pill in the morning and 1/2 in the evening. Some have to be 4 hours after another, I have a list with all the instructions. I hate doing it, but at least it's done right. He took out 4 trays, I told him get out another 4 so I can do 8 weeks together and not be bothered for a while. Start at #1 and finished with #17 and put to the side the ones that need renewing, All done...I need a drink HA HA. ONly took me 1 1/2 hours and told him he was taking me out to dinner... He laughed and said "I always asked you last night if you wanted to go Italian tonight" BUt of course, my favorite place. I was just kidding him. That mean I don't have to cook tonight or tomorrow because there are left overs. Now to see what is happening in PSP land

ok. Mike took my computer today and I got it back already! The repair guy said yesterday that it sounded like my HD was going out on me. That wasn't the case. The HD was still good. He said it is slower than molasses but he reset it back to factory defaults and thinks it will be ok but if not he said it's time to upgrade. This has windows 7 on it when he finished resetting it!! He said it was a good thing I had been saving stuff on it or it would take him days to do it. AND more $. As it was i only got charged $60. So far so good. Helps to have everything linked to my gmail account. I shall return when i'm totally back

Hi everybody! How are we all doing? Can you believe it is mid-November in Minnesota and it was 65 Degrees F here?
I worked today. Looks like I will be working a bunch next week too. My knee held up pretty well today and it will just have to keep it up because i am not taking any days off. I will get through this flare and work too so I can make some money.
Dee, those shoes and the boxes are amazing! You are so creative and talented!
I miss yall, Silk and Mary.

Win 7, omgoodness. You should be able to run older psp programs quite well, good to know you will be back soon. Grassy, good to hear the knee is holding please don't let your determination overshadow the health of your knee. I hope your Italian dinner goes well Huronna. Dee, you just made the boxes right. Not the shoes, what a talent you are.
I've been consumed with some friends in dire need. My old bike buddy who is 6 yrs older just had a stroke and my bestie from Ohio is struggling w/health issues related to stress and caring for her older spouse who is wheel chair bound. He needsto go into assisted living which both have been resisted but this recent bout may be the game changer. Another friend is not doing well after lumbar surgery last year, heart issues. I feel overwhelmed.

Good evening...I am better today. My Podiatrist came and my feet feel good. She's a lovely girl and her visits are always a pleasure. Two blouses I bought arrived today and I am so happy with them. Set for Summer now. I had to buy a whole new wardobe after so much weight loss. Flagryl, you've had so much sorrow in your life over the past couple of years. I am so sorry. Dee, you are very talented. Thank you for showing us some of your lovely work. Huronna, your pharmacist could do a weekly pack of Joe's meds. so you wouldn't have to do it .My doctor has just suggested I have it done. Ours is called a Webster pack. It's so easy. Joe picks it up every week for me. The pharmacy lets my doctor know when a new script is needed. That sounds like a lovely cruise. Grassy, good that you have lots of work and that your need is coping. Mary ,that is a lot cheaper than we'd have to pay here for tech work done. Glad you're in business again. I have Windows 11 and have had no problems. Hi to Roni, Tilly and everyone I've not mentioned.

Silk, both Joe I I get our meds through the mail, our health insurance covers them, (TriCare4Life). We get a 3 months supply and they are sent automatically. The original script is written for a year and when it runs out they contact the Dr and request a renewal. Getting a week's supply, just wouldn't hack it with as much as we go away. Remember when we did that big cruise, we had to take 10 weeks. Now if a person is only taken one or two a day, it would be easy, but he takes 17 , some twice a day, some have to be so many hours after another, some of 1/2 pill and one is a while pill in the morning and 1/2 at night. Better to take 90 minutes doing 8 weeks for him, than for him to try and do it himself and get all mixed up. this will take up right up to the cruise in Jan, but the week before I'll have to do a bunch more
Italian dinner was great, I swear we always get the same things every time. And usually have the same waitress. It's not a great big place, so that is nice also and it's only 10 minute from our house.

Oh dear me, but some of these rebuilds you buy at the computer shops or from computer vendors are real steals because they've been gone over meticulously. Good luck Mary, keep up posted.
Only takes me 10 min to do my pills for the week. John does his own still. Most are vitamins.
Off to The Westerners tonight.

Just quickly, Popping in, Silk I’m so glad you are doing better, and glad you are enjoying your new clothes. Huronna I use to struggle with doing my sons seizure and other meds, he was only on 5 a day but, I had to cut some in half and quarters, and everyone was time specific, I’m glad he’s only on 2 meds these days, 6 pills 2 in am, just one med, 4 in the evening, the same med and dose as morning and then the night med, but so much easier than it use to be. Gary takes 11 pills a day, he does his own morning and evening, he also injects himself once a fortnight, I take a baby aspirin every day, as my Dr won’t renew my meds without seeing me, but then my insurance changed and it’s been a nightmare to get things sorted, including covering his visit, or any other Drs, it’s all about preexisting b/s and getting things approved, including mammograms, I’m really tired of fighting with them over everything, what use to be easy 10 months ago is a freaking living that hot place now. So I’m off my meds until everything is figured out, as I am not paying ridiculous amounts of money for medications. Okay I’m stopping there I really could lose it haha! I do not envy you having to figure it all out.
Grassy, I’m glad your knees are better and work is not as cumbersome on you, the extra money at this time of year is always useful I’m sure.
Flagryl I’m so sorry about your friends, it is really difficult having friends or family go through hard times physically and health wise. I’m hoping things will get less stressful for them and you, remember to give yourself time to breathe, you are no good to them if you get sick too.. To answer your comment, “I make the shoes and the box” it’s why it takes so long to do them.
Mary having pc problems is the worst, mine just happened to blow up right after we had our house roof replaced and the house painted so, we just didn’t have any money in reserves to replace it. I will be getting a laptop for Christmas, the elves have pretty much declared it so…. I hope every one stays safe and healthy, 😘😘😘

Oh wow, what a miserable situation. Health insurance can be so confusing, they tell you one thing, get your $ and then change the coverage. Even with Medicare people have to get additional insurance. I’m so sorry you are having such difficulties

I understand now Huronna why you do the meds yourself. Sounds like a bit of a nightmare when you go on a long cruise. I take about the same as your Joe and never had a problem doing them myself but I have to admit this pack system is easy for me , since my travelling days are over. Oh Dee...how stressful all that must be. My son Julien who lost teeth to chemo and is having a plate made only to find today that the dentist messed the mold up. Jules was hoping to have it all done for when their overseas visitors came but that won't happen now. He's been through so much and was looking forward to new dental work. Mary I'm so sorry you're having so much trouble with computers. Flagryl...what are The Westerners.

Apologies for my absence; we have been digging a ditch needed for downspout drainage under a sidewalk. I have been wielding my father's pickaxe. The ground is the hardest and driest I have seen in my life. No moisture in it at all down to 8-10 inches. Our drought is a problem. I hope we get regular rain or snow in upcoming months. There will be a little rain this afternoon. We hope to get the rest of the ditch dug before then. I'll be back soon. Hugs to all...

Milyn, I just can't picture you yielding a pickaxe. I can barely handle a garden shovel now lol. Oh how I know about the drought this year. normally we have afternoon showers almost every day, but this year nothing. Even though I use my sprinklers twice a week as still allowed, the sun has been so hot it has burned a lot of it and killed many of the plants I had them put in the gardens. It's pitiful. We don't get snow, thankfully , but we sure could use some rain. Hope your back hold out after all you physical work

Our Grass And a few shrubbery all died this year, twice a week was just not enough to sustain our grass, of course we have neighbors who watered more than twice a week to keep theirs up, much smaller area to water, but eventually they will get caught. There is always that one neighbor lol We will have to replant new grass and as we live on a corner lot, so it’s much more of a grassed area, the HOA will enforce we bring in new sod, Unfortunately that is going to cost us way more than the fine for over watering, love HOA’s…<Sarcasm>
