The conversation about Steve's animation (great job, by the way) reminded me of my proudest moments in animation. My first attempt was a breathing dog.

And then for a PSP class I was taking I did this animation with the running dog supplied. I had no idea how to do the background so I made a really long background with the scenery and then I copied the first section and then the next section which was half of the first and then half of the second and then on until I was at the end and did half of the end and half of the beginning. I had no idea how to do it so when it worked I was just thrilled. So those are my two real accomplishments.

I've recently taken some lessons and, although I've learned a lot, I still have a long way to go.
Do you all remember that wonderful feeling when your first animation was a success?
Holly

Nice work! I don't know if they'll stay up though without any credits on them. Hope to see more of your work soon...have you looked through the safe tubes yet?

Thanks for the memories Holly, I think that helps newbies a lot. I did have to delete the two graphics though as we are a 100% ©aware site and can't have anything up that isn't properly credited.

I cant rember my first animation as I did not save them to start of with but ive just gone into my photo bucket account and posting one of the first I saved when I started with AL2. The group has taught me so so much over the years .From safetube sites to how to overcome all the barriers of when you first start to use psp.

My first animating was doing the lessons here. I was so tickled, I became promptly addicted. I'm still tickled when they work. I always know there will be movement now, but tickled nonetheless.

Holly I missed your pics, but can relate to what you are saying This was one of my first here... dire ROFL! Then Neo intoduced me to vectors and I loved them! Started venturing off into vector land on my own... And now playing about with free hand drawing combined with vectors.... Non of which I would have done if I hadn't joined up here Thanks for making us think back, Holly.. it helps us to see how far we've come Mandy :Dx
