So this week I have been learning about inconspicuous placement of credits so that they don't detract from a tag. I got a revamped sigtag from Anita and it is the one you see here. It is faboo. Now, I changed my avatar to have a gray text going along the side of the avatar instead of on the bottom. It's pretty snazzy if I do say so. Here's the deal, though: Everytime I go to upload it into PhotoBucket, instead of my nifty new avatar, it shows the old one with the black text going along the bottom. Huh? Should I just say heck on it and make a brandy new one? Why is it all crazy?

OK, I am now officially nuts now LOL. I think I need to go make a new avatar because I can't get the edited one to work. It keeps going back to the first one I did, so maybe doing a whole brandy new one will stop making it think it has the old one. Talk to yall later OK? Love from your friend Grassy

Well, that makes me a moron LOL. I inadvertently had a minimized window so PB still thought my old one was working. LOL. Always close out of everything when you are changing. Now doesn't my avatar look better? :-)

Now, LOL, are you talking about when you upload it to PB, you're still seeing the same avatar?
OK, Here's the scoop.....Are you sure you're ready? I'm just messin with ya! LOL
PB is stubborn and they will not change a new upload to the latest one. It'll go back to the old one when you post it even though you deleted the other one.
You have to change the name of the new file.....just add 2 (or anthing you want to it), to change the new one to flamingo2.jpg.[/b][/i] Try it, it should work.

I just wanted to add too, since you're working on credits.... Instead of using the gray, if you still want it lighter, just make sure your credit is on it's own layer and lower the opacity a little to make it lighter gray. I usually do all of my credits, using pixelette size 6 font, with 0 line size and antialias turned off so it's smooth. I do them in black on light tags and white on dark tags and then adjust the opacity from there. Just a little suggestion that I use. LOL

LOL! I know it now. Hee hee hee. Thanks Susy! For a minute there I almost freaked out when you said there was a trick and I was all Oh if it's something easy I will surely go insane, so I am happy that you were just messing with me. My sanity is still safe. I will try that with the opacity thing. I will make up a new tag just for fun and try that.

Ok here's another hint about what are called "sets" Those are avatars and signatures that go together, such as the one you used. You matched the background colors and the images. You also matched the font you used. Now don't scream.......the credits should be the same color also and possibley the same font. I like the font Anita used especially since a drop shadow is not necessary. You could actually just made a selection of just that credit area and paste it over your credit area. Since the background is solid is should match like down town

I never thought of that. Let me work with that after lunch and I will see what happens. Believe it or not, I did kind of wonder because my gray looks somewhat "off" with Anita's pink doesn't it? I might need to take a trip to the weave store LMBO!
