It's 590 K now, so I am stymied as to why it got bigger when I resized it down?

I asked that same thing long, long ago. Stampede Mike told me about undoing the optimizition, then resize, then optimize again.
Is that a double bling or a single bling put on twice?

I know it's a quirk. I resize in psp, copy and paste into AS as a new image. And if it goes on an animation image, copy and propagate paste again. Blings and accents will really go haywire.

I have found at times when I re-size a photo it will go larger instead of smaller. Usually it is when I am trying to use maybe 80 or 90 percent. I found that if you go down to about 60 it will then go downwards and then if that is too small undo the size and try a higher number till it is what you want. Why it does that I don't know especially when I just opened the photo and tried to re-size without doing anything to it yet.
