Hi all. I've been away due to Byron's illness. He's been sick since boxing day. Well, he actually started feeling sick two days before Christmas but didn't start with the wonderful stuff 'til boxing day. He was soooooooooo sick. Vomiting, headaches, aches all over, diarrhea, diarrhea, diarrhea, etc. Even had blood and mucus in it which scared the you know what out of me! Kept putting off the visit to emerge. but finally went yesterday. He has a viral infection in his bowels. The dr. said that there wasn't much they could do except let him 'ride it out'. Give him bulky foods, and no greasy stuff or acidy stuff. Duh, did that. Didn't work! Oh well, if it's not gone in a week I'm going to go to the other hospital, the bigger one. I went to the old small one, it's okay for non-emergencies, but the bigger one is better equipped and has a pediatrics section.
Well, guess I'm done my spiel. I went to the old board, I still have it on "My Favorites" list but I guess I can delete it now? Just had to say good bye one more time.
Gotta go run to the store for more toilet paper. Been going through lots lately, wonder why? Talk later.

Hi Barb! I am so sorry! Isn't that just the worst?
Is there anything I can do?
Poor Lamb had that last year over Valentine's Day. Needless to say, I didn't go anywhere near him LOL.
Will Pedialyte work? My sister's a nurse and they give it to people in the hospital. She says Gatorade and stuff like that makes the diarrhea worse because of all the sugar in it, but Pedialyte helps a lot.

Hi Barb, sorry to hear Byron is feeling so poorly. Sure hope he can get over this soon.

We closed down AL2 at one minute past midnight on Jan 1st. There is no more msn group. Huronna had to leave the group up so she could post the message for stragglers so they could find us again. I think once she knows everyone is here and give it some time, then the entire group will disappear.
