Although I finally got my signiture at the bottom of my posts ,ive been trying different versions to how I view the posts . Ive hidden all siggys now and found reading all posts so much more easier . Although everyones siggy was a work of art and fun to see I was getting lost in a sea of tags and siggys when reading posts . Apart from that Im loving it here and getting used logging on to here now without having to think about where am I going.xxxxxxxxxxLove to hear how everyone else is doing xxxxxxx

Well, I'm liking it alot. I love the option to modify a post. I love the option of private messaging, although I haven't used it yet.

I have to laugh about all the tags and animations showing. I was thinking how how it reminds me of when I first joined AL. It was a terribly active site and no limit to the number of members. I think every person posted an animation in every reply they made. Those pages moved so fast that it boggled your mind. Sometimes you'd have to scroll back 4 pages to find the thread you started that morning. I think you'd probably have run away screaming.

I'm getting used to seeing the signatures. It's a good thing that the line is there. I think if they aren't changed too often, I'll get used to seeing certain ones and be able to either zone in or zone out on them. I kind of like the option of them being there, because so many tags only get used once or twice and it's an opportunity to let them be seen. I think it will prompt me into making some tags smaller, just for that purpose. As long as the other person has the option like you said of not seeing them, it's all good.

Let's see. I too love the option of PM, now I don't have to play secretary sending e-mail addies to people. You can contact each other whenever you want and I don't have to be involved. Not that I minded, but it does make things easier.

For me it's harder to post images. I had all my tags in a storage site on MSN and it was simple to add something...if I could find it. Now I can find things on PB, but it takes me longer to get there.

There is one thing I am not happy with and that is once you have posted in a thread, you can't just go to the next thread, you have to return to the full list of posts and pick the next one, but with the "new" you can tell easily if there has been another post.

First off... I'm sorry you're having a poopy day Huronna. But I'm sure that will pass and tomorrow will be a better day.

I really like the boards. It's easy to post images. I just open PB in another window and minimize it to keep it handy. I love having the PMs to get notes to others separately. I like being able to modify posts, too. And I didn't realize that we could hide other's sigs. I don't think I'd want to do that. I love looking at all the neat sigs and avs and tags even though it makes for a very 'busy' site. I still have some stuff to figure out, but I'm getting there.

I like the boards, too. I also like the option to modify. I also open PB in another window [option of IE7] and copy paste my images. It's motivated me to organized my siggys. I love all the sigs here, but also opted to not view them for ease of reading the threads.

I'm cleaning out my computer files and am almost to the point of dumping all my old templates and siggies. I hate to do that. I may just back up on my other HD and keep clean files on my computer.

I think once I get that project done, I'll be ready to create. I just can't get into creating when I have a cluttered desk or computer. Just call me neat freak...can't help it!

I like the boards here too. It does take longer to post a tag, but it did make me finally get my photobucket into order. Now, I just have to upload all the ones I've saved onto my computer and not done anything with. But that's for another day. LOL.

This forum is terrific!! I love it here. Had no problems adjusting and like all the others have said there are many new options available to us that we didn't have over "there". I love all the beautiful sigs everyone has posted. It just makes us feel more homey if you know what I mean. This is and always was since the time I joined...probably almost 3years now the greatest bunch of people I know. I think once everyone gets used to posting tags and what not, it won't be much different than before, in fact I think it is even better.

The one thing I didn't know what that we could private message the other members ourselves. I thought that was an option for the managers and assistants. That is great to know, and a nice ioption to have handy.

The private messaging is a nice option, I enjoy, and at first was AMAZED to see my post going through. There are alot of options with your posting. Also if you want, or don't want to see the signatures. Myself I like them, may get one for myself one of these days ;D

I was very resistant to moving on from msn.. had been there soooo long! But a week here, and I'm loving it!
I love the option to modify, the text effects in a post (which I've just discovered ), everyones avatars and signatures. After a little time spent working things out and learning, I'm home with friends

I love it, Love it, LOVE IT!!!! I thought forums were such a pain to post to and would be harder to post pics & etc, but I must admit, I'm finding it quite easier! AND I don't have to go through a bunch of riga-ma-roll just to get here! I have posted this addy in my favorites, so all I have to do is click on that and sign in! Voila!

The only thing I miss is seeing all the talented folks that made up such beautiful websets/webpages....and all those beautiful backgrounds!

However.....Since this IS an animation forum, we definitely don't need the frilly to see what talented individuals we have here animating away! Wooooo hoooooo!

I do love the fact that you can go back and "revise" your message if you messed up.

AND....the most important thing I love the most.......... No White pages, nor red X's, nor being sent to the What's New page instead of the page you want! Wooooo hoooooo!

P.S. Mandy....I think those little ants are so adorable!

Another thing I love about this place that I forgot to mention. No More OTY!!!!!! The very first post is WHITE not yellow, so no more wasted time trying to do the table thingy or posting off the yellow before someone comes in to find nothing on the first post yet. lol

Yup, I love this place. It is growing more comfy every time I come home and we are all together again, and that is the most important thing of all.

I started loving forums when I made my own first forum. Never wanted to post at MSN again. I find the forums way more fun to be in and have so many more options. It looks like everyone is adjusting very well.
