I started this painting of my sister about 5 months ago..just before she went in for her first bout of radiation treatments...I finished it yesterday. I painted it from these two pics that I have of her. I just wanted to share it with you.

Wow I thank you...hmm don't know if I could do tuts but I know where you can find some really good ones. Barb Kermis has some on her site and Rachael Tallamy has a bunch on her site...matter of fact the main thing I learned from Rachael was to play with every aspect of your tools. Sizes, shapes strengths...For example to do fur lately I've been playing with the smudge brush just about as skinny as it will go but fairly large..you have to keep rotating it but it smoothes out the fur nicely...I've also tried that technique on hair ....here again you have to play with the hardness of the smudge brush...I think I'll leave the tuts to Barb and Rachael lol I play an awful lot when I'm doing a painting...sometimes I don't even know what I did lol. I'd love to see some of your artwork! Sal
