It's with a heavy heart that we write this post. Silk sadly died yesterday at her home.
She’s fought a long battle with a long term illness.
She was in her brightest pajamas in her bedroom...her favorite room .
A view of the garden and her favorite tree. She was able to hold the hands of her sons.
Possibly her lorikeets were present.Imagine her having a Mimosa.

Silk fought so bravely. I am so sad and I will miss her so much. She was a great, courageous lady.

I am so sorry to hear this news. Prayers for her family and all that have been involved in her life over the years. She hung in until to end.

It’s hard to know she is gone from this physical space. She was so special to me but I am happy she is no longer in pain.

Her spirit will always be here; I think she loved this brightly changing view nearly as much as the Lorikeets in the garden. I am glad she is not suffering any more; the burden she carried had become in that way had become so draining. She has set a high bar for going on in grace and style, and I'm glad she had everything she wanted in that way, boys, PJ,s, view and love. To me she will always be here; loving every new set and technique. Bon Voyage my friend. Journey safely and in style. HUGS to you - and to those who miss you dearly too.

I'm so sorry Silk is gone and know she is free from all the ailments that troubled her here.  I feel blessed to have had some interactions with Silk and seeing her many beautifully made signature tag sets.  The creative spirit was strong in Silk and I believe it will last in her spirit--both here and in the next realm.
