Roni, Update in post # 40

Has anyone see or heard from Roni? 
She hasn't been around in a couple of days, she hasn't posted on her Facebook page since the 28th?
That  really isn't like her.  I know she wasn't feeling good the other day .
Guess I better get out the

Tried calling her and wasn't able to leave a message. "mailbox was full"
I'll try later and if I still can't get in touch with her, I have her son's number and will call him.

I tried Roni's number again, and no answer, Remember a couple of years ago, many of us exchanged phone numbers and contact information. I in turn , gave each one of you all my info.
Over the years I have gotten a rare chatty call, but today was the day I decided to use her contact information. I called her son and Roni is in the hospital, apparently the other day she fell and it's not for certain but she may have really injured her back severely. I gave him my phone number and asked him to please keep me updated on her situation. Please everyone, Keep Roni in your thoughts and prayers.

Roni called me this morning, she has seen I had called on her phone. She is presently in a lot of pain because she fell twice on her back and head. She said her back was fractured. The fall was caused by her BP dropping really really low. I'll call her every other day to see how she is doing and will report back.

Just read this on her Facebook page, posted by a friend of here....I just wanted to let everyone know that Roni is out of the hospital and back home. She had a fall and broke her back in two places. She is doing okay and on the road to healing. Sending up prayers that she will heal quickly.

Called Roni when we got back today. They say it will take 8 weeks to heal. Since I spoke to her the other day, she has see a wee bit of progress. But it will be a long and grueling recovery.

Got a pm from Roni on Facebook. She has a good friend she has known for years. Plus she is a nurse and staying with her. Thoughts and prayers for Roni.
