A much brighter, better, more caring friend died yesterday from cancer. I am far from Penny's example of acceptance, cheerful willingness, and uncomplaining endurance. I have missed her a lot as her battle isolated her. I will miss her more now that I can't even text her. Hard day.

So many of us have various problems, and yet we all care so much foreach other. I have not been online much, even to say hi, no wifi and when I did have it I was too emotionally drained to say anything.
We are right now inthe luxury lounge of Latam airlines. They do always book us first class so that helps when so many other things go array.
We got up at seven, as I had to get Joe ready by 8 for wheelchair pickup. There have been multiple transfers, which are exhausting. Off the ship onto a transfer to the terminal. Another transfer o get to where the luggage is, ID that and give it to security and hope it makes it ge luggage forward people. Then a bus to the airport. Off the bus find a wheelchair and assistance. Then. At first they didn’t want to check us in because flight doesn’t leave until 8, thankfully my Spanish must have melted their heart and finally we were now both in wheelchairs, I was about to collapse. Managing two carryon s, my travel purse and coats, while on guy pushed Joe.
They don’t have Pinot Grigio , maybe that’s a good thing. Finally got on line and checked tracking for our luggage , it has been picked up, to be delivered Feb 25.
Now I’d like to take a nap, but chairs aren’t nap able.
Miss you all, I am alive, but probably have aged 20 years in this irdeal

Milyn, much love to you. It is OK to be angry. Grrrrr! Frankly, I would be surprised if you weren't angry and experiencing a whole jumble of things right now. That is OK. Once you get the facts and learn more, that will bring more calm. Or it did for me. But like it's been said before, we're all different and we go through things differently. Your feelings are totally valid.
I am sorry about your friend Penny.
I am sending you some of my light and love. I know you are unhappy right now and I am not going to play the Glad Game with you, so why don't you just have some of my love and light? Right now I've got lots to spare.
I've got enough for everyone without robbing myself. I love you all.
Life is pretty good here. I am going to the grocery store later. I am still in my PJ's LOL.
Huronna, I am so sorry you had the trip from that hot place.
Flagryl, I am sending your cousin love and prayers too.
I hope everyone else is well and/or getting better. Love to all.

Huronna... I really hope you can rest on the plane. Sending energy. I have extra; built up from frustration trying to enter my long med history, allergies, treatments, surgeries etc into the oncology new patient portal _on my phone_ as they can't transfer the link to email and internet. Lots of energy your way... Don't snarl at anyone. Mucho suerte a tu y su esposo!!

Right now we are in JFK awaiting flight to tampa.
There are so many unbelievable stories about this flight home.
Here is the best one.
We arrived in Lima, and there were stairs to exit the plane. Not possible, and had they said this we would have changed flights. So the whole crew stand there waiting for the contraption that will elevate a wheelchair to the door . But it never came. And time was getting close to our next flight. I talked to the capt to see if he could talk to the connecting capt to see if he could hold the flight for this extrenuous circumstance. Tick took, nothing arriving, except a wheelchair that goes into the plane, what to do……I’m about in tears, and finally five guys from the assistant team, picked up joe in the wheelchair and step by step, carried it on high with joe init and made it to the bottom. You should have heard the sighs of relief. And then the mad dash to the awaiting flight. Yes, we were the last to board, all were there waiting for us.
Right now I don’t ever want to see another airport or airplane……ever!

OMG! That is both a beautiful and terrifying tale! I get the wobbles just thinking about the height on that lift. But so good hearted of them to do it. Was Joe terrified or excited? Regardless... I am so glad you made the plane and are in the US.

I cut my nails back and it is so weird to be able to type correctly without those fingernails in my way ha ha ha. That Nailtiques is wonderful! It worked on my nasty, unhealthy nails!

Welcome home Huronna. Hope Joe and you're doing okay now? I don't blame you about not wanting to see another airport or plane again for a while. I finally find out what was wrong with me.
I found out what has been going on and it had to do with my blood pressure medicine. I take 3 different ones , but the one that was the problem has been taken care of. This one has a 24 hour release and it was a different color pill , was suppose to be white and this one was pink. Last week got a call from the pharmacy that takes care of my medicine and the doctor's nurse called and told them about the mix up. I got the right medicine last Thursday and it's working. No shakes and had blood work done last Tuesday and got my results , my blood sugar is good, so is my sodium and phosphrous are also good . My kidneys are stable and functioning like they should. This is the second time I have had problems with my blood pressure. Thanks for your kind words and prayers. God bless you all.
