Mists

I saw all those beautiful Garbis mists - and lots of them were kittycats! I went bananas over them!
I don't have a whole ton of experience with mists. Like none. Are there instructions somewhere on how to make them look nice?

Thee are many ways they can be used, a background that is a similar color to the bit of background color remaining on the mist. Or putting the mist is some type of subtle frame. Used in a cluster frame. There are quite a few that are actually tubes with those kitties. Or things on a layer on top, those things called decos.
So many of the Leonarda images I have used are mists, so that might give you some ideas also.

Also a lot of the background challenge have frame like layers, you can always use them, rearranging or enlarging or whatever

mists usually can't take a drop shadow well, either. I have always been told not to drop shadow them

...that awful moment when you realize this is your circus and your monkeys... oh my gosh, I laughed so hard. All of these are so beautiful! It's clear that for the misted image to work, you need to choose backgrounds that compliment the misted image. Yall amaze me how everything you do is simply incredible.
