Usually when our land line rings we don't answer it until the message it over and someone actually begins saying something and we recognize their voice. Way too many spam calls still. But this morning I was in the kitchen taking my morning meds and I picked it up. The voice on the other end and a lovely British accent.
"Hello Huronna, this is John from England. Lainey's husband" What a lovely surprise! We had met a couple of time in Kissimmee when they were visiting the states. He assured my right away that Lainey was doing good health wise, but as many of you already know, She had started with dementia about 5 years ago. John and I talked for a while and then he said that it was a good day and that he could put Lainey on the phone. I heard him in the background day to her, Lainey I have a good friend of yours on the phone, she wants to say hello. She asked him who and when she heard the answer she sounded very excited. We talked for a minute of two, not about AngelsDesign, not about graphics not about computers. That is no longer in her world. She sounded just like the Lainey I had spoken to so many times in real life and on the phone.
John said it would be lovely if I could e-mail her. I explained that many times I had tried, but she kept getting different addies , maybe because she couldn't remember passwords, but this time I asked him for his e-mail and that I would write her through him. She also isn't on her computer.
Many of you know Lainey from the years gone by. From the Dragon's Lair tube site, or Shewolf's. And of course as the original ADMIN of angels Design.
So I wonder if you would like me to include a not from you, I would suggest it not being real involved, but I bet should would remember many of you.
