Happy Victoria Day to all our Canadian members...Enjoy the day & especially the fireworks...
Sunday I watched a programme on TV with Billy Connelly touring in a show called Journey to the Edge of the Earth...Wowzer!.....what scenery, it was all absolutely gorgeous...It surely is down on my list as a country I must visit someday. From the lumberjacks who never cry 'timber' anymore - to the 76 year old lady who has 45 acres and tends to it all on her own and then he saw a bear and it was like christmas for him lol...oh he was excited!...Great show and the prettiest sights I ever did see...

Thanks everyone. My day started off good. We went to my dad's and Byron and I went for a little walk down a trail where there used to be a train track. It is beside my dad's house. When we were little there used to be only one train that went down that track, years before there were others, and she (the train) we called the Susie Push used to honk her horn whenever we were outside to wave. The engineer usually waited to see us and waved as well. After the walk, which I took lots of photos, we went back and I basked in the sun. Toooooo much sun! I got a major migraine headache on the right side whcih ruined the rest of my day. It is just now gone away so thought I'd check in. To also ruin the day there were NO FIREWORKS! What a bummer little town it is as times. It is a tourist town so you would think that they pull out all the stops, show them what us Canadians do, but the last few years it's been lacking in special events such as that. On Canada Day they have some fireworks but that's still a few months away so it would've been nice for some today. Oh well, I have my memories and summer is coming with some activities hopefully that'll make up for today. I made those fireworks myself. Not bad for a first time I think. I'm going back to bed in a minute. Take care.
