One thing that I am sure of is that most of you get to other sites much more than I do. I'm lucky if I can get to my garden board. I've meant to ask this for a long time, but CRS seems to strike every time.
Mondays are a photo challenge and Wednesdays are a font challenge. Fridays are an 'anything I decide it is for that week' challenge.
We've done these that I can remember offhand.
1. color 2. caption 3. topic 4. tube 5. floral 6. dog 7. cat 8. tagback 9. gift 10. season 11. animation such as bouncing, rotating, sliding, popping up, dropping, swinging, pulsating 12. shot arrows 13. using frames 14. snow 15. rain 16. dragging animation like the butterfly 17. glitter 18. floaties 19. using AS effects 20. using PSP effects
I have not really done any tut challenges, unless it was simple directions or explanations how I did something.
The questions are: What other kinds of challenges are there?
What kinds of challenges do you enjoy the most?
Do you enjoy being challenged to do simple animation?
Do you want to do tut challenges?
I'd appreciate your input. Thanks.

I enjoy tuts, so a tut challenge should be a good thing right.. as long as we don't have to make the tut!!

Tut challenges would be great as long as we dont have to write it or the tut is not making vectors!!!!! Because no matter what you all think, vectors do NOT rule in my house!! ROFL...........
Seriously though I like doing tuts.
Challenge us to do a tag using certains plug-ins.
Challenge us to make a tag for someone in the group using certain effects and/or tubes.

Just a photo or pic is fine ... as I can't do tuts lol but sometimes do enjoy trying to create something done in PSP and doing it in UGA5.

I enjoy all kinds of challenges. Tut challenges are fun. In one of my other groups, our Wednesday challenge is a 'shape' We all donate shapes to use for this challenge. It's fun to see who does what with the same shape. In each of these the 'shape' became a UFO. We only have 80kbs to work with at that group so I rarely animate them there.

I can't really think of anything to add to your list either...although when I was a kid, I used to like playing that game where someone just draws a doodle and you have to make something out of it...kind of like Betsys shape challenge.

I confess I don't do many of the challenges. Not because they are not good or challenging. I just have such a hard time sitting at the computer for long periods of time. I just gotta keep movin' I guess.
But, you know I love the ones where you make a complicated animation and then explain the steps and challenge us to come up with our own creation.

I don't think I can add to the list. I do like tutes and simple animation. A mask Challenge is fun. I like the phpto challenge like we have now.

Going to put in my 2 cents. We have always tried to be different from other sites. The callenges that we offer basically use things from members. Such as the photos challenge or your challenges Neo. Tutorial challenges are something most other sites do which would men you would have to do out wandering for them. Many of the tut sites still use uncredited items, or images that people need permission for or pay filters.
I think you have challenged us more with the type of things that you have used. Pointing to a tube or album of tubes. Of a theme for a tag. Or even if you wanted to do a tut challenge, we have lots of them already here that people have not done.
You might even make it a Lesson challenge. we have lots of them that many of us, myself included have not done.
Tutorials are all on different levels. If you found an easy one, it wouldn't really intered those that have more experience. If you found a difficult one, it wouldn't be fair for the beginners.
It need to be something that all levels of PSP-ers feel comfortable with.
Even putting up one of your more simple images that comes in layers for people to animate.
OK move over, I'm crawling under that rock with you

I enjoy it all from the challenges to just read everyones posts. As for something new mmmmmmmm hard one as the group offers everything to everyone at every level . May be we could have a monthly challenge for tag of the month . Every fourth or fifth week we could put a tag of any choice in a thread where one would be picked then saved on a seperate section like the mow . It would be great advertising for new members to see the range of work everyone does. From the simplest to the more classic . Maybe neo could write a little piece on each one demonstrating as to what was used and what level of psp you would need to achieve such a tag . . xxxxxxxxxx

What you have to say does make sense Huronna and I will happily go along with whatever Neo decides.

Hi Neo!! in my case I would like to suggest a Tutorial once a week! where all of us will try and learn from it!! When I start a tutorial and I find some difficulties, I just give up!! but if while we all work on the same tutorial, then we will learn from it by posting our questions and learn from each other! this is just a suggestion! Thank you!

Hmm Steve, that's not a bad idea and we could use some of the lesson tuts as Huronna suggested... I know that it helps to learn from them and it would be a unique experience for all to do one in the same thread and learn from each other...

Hmmmmm. That was all interesting as well. I have oodles of food for thought.
Mainly, I didn't want members to be bored by the Friday challenges.
