I have only 1 GB of freespace left on my hard drive. Is that enough? I promise not to DL anything more until I get a new HD which will happen the week after I get back. Yikes! It sure doesn't take long to fill a 40 GB hard drive. I am so looking forward to getting a big one. I might have to dump some of my music just so the computer is operational this next little while.

I am going to back up my folders right now and then I will just have to judiciously remove some things huh?

I was able to free up a lot of space. I can just go to my EHD every morning and pick out the tubes I want to use for the day. I don't need to have lots and lots on here after all. I am grateful to the scrapkits, though. If it weren't for the kits, I never would have stopped and thought out a tag and taken lots of time with them. I used to be able to crank out a tag in a half hour. Now, somtimes it takes hours. That is really good. I need to stop and take the time.

LOL, I have an 80 gig hard drive, and I wouldn't be able to fill it in my lifetime, probably. I use my little flash drives a lot too for things that I don't need on my big hard drive. I have 3 - 2 gig each flash drives. One is for my quilting info and the others are just in case I need them or have to take one with me for some reason, so I usually keep one in my purse.

I have 40 gigs, but remember that most of my desktop publishing stuff is on here, and that takes up a terrible lot of room.
I am happy to be getting a bigger one in a few weeks. I am so excited!

I was operating with 250-350 MB of free space on my C drive for a very long time until I back all of My Documents to a flash drive, so if you still have 1 GB, you should be fine.
I hope to have someone go pick up my computer from my computer guy that he had been working on since November 2006... poor health and other circumstances caused many delays for him. He passed away the first part of February this year. I certainly hope it is operational now...
It has been so long now, I don't even remember for sure what I had him put into it, but I think there are two 500 GB hard drives with a dual boot, one drive for XP and one drive for Vista, with two additional 250 GB drives for storage. I have several external 200 GB hard drives that are full, but the OLD system I am currently using, I cannot access them.
