It is that time again and I have to tell you this was a spectacular week for many of you.
Normally as the days go on, I grab things that catch my eye,
well this time was your time and so many of you picked the same tags that I did and what your peers did also.
well this time was your time and so many of you picked the same tags that I did and what your peers did also.
So lets start off with this tag by the newbie Barbara.
Not only was I impressed by the fact that Barbara jumped right in on the challenge but also that she not only combined the image with a lovely scrap kit, added animation and her perfect credits and wound up with a terrific final entry into the challenge.
Here were some other comments from people who picked this tag also.
Silk...Barbara's tag is so right for the photo. The frame, colours and all the elements are well chosen.
Betsy....I love it when new members jump into the challenges. Barbara did a super job with the scraps and Dar's photo. I feel like right back at the aquarium when I look at this.
Flagryl....As for Barbara, for a newbie I applaud her jumping in and using the bubbles animation on her tutorial tag. It's great to see a beginner create and add animation to an otherwise still tag.
And now for one of our oldies. Nickel and her unique tags, You never know exactly what she is going to do with an image. Nickel can take something as simple as a swan tube and make it into something totally elegant that everyone wants. And it is always to perfection. Just look at the water movement behind the slats, the glistening feathers of the swans and the slow movement of the fog.
Silk.....I love Nickel's tag...firstly the black swan is an Australian native bird.
The animation is lovely on the swans and also the water. The composition is beautiful.

Susy.....These swans, by Nickel, made the most beautiful black and white tag that I have ever seen.
Beautifully done with just the right amount of bling to make their feathers pop.
The water movement with the little bit of fog is spot on.
Thank you, NIckel, for this gorgeous tag.
Suzie....This was a must have all the way around.
Love the black swans that Nickel tubed. And the animated water behind the slates is Fascinating.
It is such a beautiful creation I have found myself looking at it just for the calming effect is creates in me.

Now for the rest of the tags picked by the members.
Barbara....My vote for favorite tag is MsKel's Lia tag.
I love the humor in it and it makes me smile every time I see it
Betsy.....MsKel's Image...I think this is a bright and cheery 'thinking of you' tag.
Those flowers are so pretty.
Those flowers are so pretty.
Flagryl....I picked Arbee's because of the movement of the watering can, the more gentle movement seemed realistic.
I also appreciated the work he did on the composition and blend of colors,
he spent some time on the entire tag and not just the animation.

Lainey.......I love Nadia's work and was so thrilled to get her permisssion for AD.
Huronna's tag is is so different I love the mixture of colours and looks like a wonderland cave.

The gentle animations detracts nothing from the tag (I counted 7 individual ones) but may be more?
Even Ratty looks a sweetie

Suzie.......huronna's tag..I haven't gotten past this one in my admiration.
Love the composition, colors, blending, limited animation. It is a magnificent piece of work.

I was especially glad to see Roni jump in on this activity. Here is what she said...
I think that MsKel did an outstanding job on it, she has been doing a lot of nice sets
but this one is special I think, I love the new artist she used, and she did a great job with
the animation and the word art... I was really impressed when I saw this offer, the colors
are very pretty and to me it appears perfect...I hope she stays here with us, I love to see
what she does on a daily basis

Now let’s see who impressed me and why.
Flagryl’s Honey Tag...an intricate background that took a while to make,
but is reserved as to compliment the image not detract from it.
The animation of the bear is great.
The movement of the hand is perfects and the little tongue sticking out is adorable.
Yum yum. The word art is tops. All and all a great tag!

Suzie’s Listen tag.
Wow I know how long that background took and how many steps and layers it was.
Then the question is always, what image what message.
And in this case both go hand in hand.
Listen and watch carefully...just look at that image...does it not speak those words to you?

I don’t often pick both the avatar and sig tag,
but in this case they needed to be shown together because you have to see both to get the message.
Lainey’s rendition of this scrap kit is probably the best that was done.
The message is hysterical and gained lots of laughs when posted.

Now I have two of Adele’s tags
The first makes you feel like you are actually swimming with the dophins.
I wonder if I could survive in the deep with them

The second of Adele's is this absolutely gorgeous photo of a tulip festival.
Don’t we all wish we could experience seeing that. Great idea to colorize the watering can also.

I also picked this one of Silk’s.
The main reason is the contrast to the type of tag that Silk usually does.
Ok she has been doing some owl stuff, but outer space?
And the text “Anyone there?” really is spot on.

Well I think that is it for this time.
Thank you for taking the time to help me pick some outstanding tags.

I have enjoyed your picks and reasons and I hope you enjoyed mine.
So until next time......keep animating!
