Susy, I had not used Beverly Lu for a long time so I figured I better go recheck her TOU. They are rather strange:
Our Artwork is NOT to be used in any Member Only Groups (private groups). What does this mean? It means, that if you are a member of any Member Only Groups or if you are a manager of any Member Only Groups you cannot use our Artwork for your creations in the Group. It also means that even if you are not a member of any Member Only Groups but you sometimes upload or 'pass on' creations to others in a Member Only Group, this is NOT allowed and you are in violation of these terms.

So under NO circumstance is our Artwork to be used, passed around, uploaded, shared in ANY MEMBER ONLY GROUPS where I have to join to view.

Since we are a "member only" group to view the message board, I think that means that we can't use her work. We would have been able to use it on the MSN group because everything was public, but here everything is public except for the message board. But thinking about it, I really can't see any reason for it being private because we have never ever had anything to hide.....I think you have given me the impedus to change it. The only thing that will be visible to non-members will be where to find the tubes. Now that I have talked to myself a little HA HA, let me go change those settings.

LOL, if we aren't suppose to be posting here yet, how is anyone to see this or request? hehe Just my thoughts.

Ma, it's getting closer and closer to that time. And now basically all new tags that are made have to include the url and if it's a g-rated image but an adult artist, we can't port it on MSN. Confusing. And some people just have too many new/old groups to follow in both places so they are picking one. It's just that we didn't want anyone to think we were ignoring them if they posted here because the managers were still concentrating on the MSN group and visiting here when we got a chance.

Thanks Huronna for explaining this and for allowing me to post this WWO.
I did read the part about the groups but was not aware that AL2 can't be viewed by everyone.
I didn't know that the message board was private is what I'm trying to say. I thought only our tubes were private.
I just didn't think about it cause she says we can use the art and even gives the ©, but, we are not permitted to tube the art.
I'm glad that this turned out the way it did.LOL
A loophole like this increases our knowledge about reading artist's TOU's. Don't ya think?

huronna, i have another question about beverly lu's TOU.

i realize that i'm too late to request on this WWO offer (it's beautiful btw susy), but as it was offered as a personalized tag in a group now open to the public, do her terms mean that i couldn't use it at all in a private group? even it it was made for me in a public group along with tags for others?

(now i'm gonna have to go check all my tags and snags and make sure i don't have any which use beverly's artwork, since i usually do post tags in a private group.

(oh why do artists have to be so nitpicky sometimes? sigh)
