I am going crazy! I downloaded Sinedots, Sinedots II and retrodots plugins, and despite my guiding them to their folder and doing the correct filepath and doing everything I know to do, they obstinately refuse to make themselves visible in PSP.
I noticed that the file extension is .aex - Lamb says that's not anything he's ever used. Is that a Mac file? Did I DL the wrong computer thing and that's why it's not showing up? What else should I be doing?
Thanks for your help!

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- It should be a CFG file

Before installing the one for windows, make sure you uninstall the one you installed by error.

Keeping in mind I know nothing....lol...I just downloaded the Sinedots II and unzipped it into my plugins folder. Nothing show in my list. I shut down Paint Shop, then decided I might as well do a whole restart of the puter. I had a tut open and it said to open a 16 bit transparent canvas. With that canvas, the Dragonfly log is there, but Sinedots II is grayed out. I have had that before with tuts, so I opened a new canvas with only 8 bits and now it is available.
When you gave that file extension, was that for sinedots, sinedots II, or retrodots. My sinedots II unzipped to .cfg The website said there was no Mac version.

When I downloaded Sinedots I and II (cfg files) , they put themselves under Dragonfly too, along with Retro Dots (aex file), (another plugin by the same site) in my dropdown plugin list.
Look under DRAGONFLY in your dropdown list. It won't show under Sinedots (at least I don't think so)

I know...I know.....you downloaded the one for After Effects instead of for Photoshop.

Uh-oh......this is not good for me. I could get addicted to playing with sinedots. It's a bit like playing with a fluid kaleidescope.

I have some other .aex filters in my thing so I can just say bye to them too and now I have an answer for why some just never showed up in the year that I have been playing with filters! This is so great! You guys are awesome! Thanks for helping!
