I got a photo from my brother's Bible, then I went to the sketch option of Dumper.net, took it to PSP and added a new layer. I then traced it and then colored it. Question is: Since I originally used a photo from the bible, and did all the other, what should the credits be? Could I use © Barb.C? Or would I have to give the name of the bible he got it from?

Are there a list of credits in the Bible for the artists or photographers? Hmmmm I guess it would not be a photographer would it, they didn't have camera back in those days.
Photos in any type of book are not public domain. The images are in the same category as things we use here. If it's an image that is really old, it probably falls out of the ©domain. If you can find who did the original image it would be image©by so and so, altered by Barb

I might make a suggestion.....since you found that public domain site, why not use one of those photos and then you would know exactly who to give the original credit to
