Hello all! It is 38 and raining, despite there being a smiley sun on my weather map. Grrrrrr. I have to mail Lamb's DVDs back to Blockbuster, but that involves walking across the street to the mailbox and I am stalling LOL. Nothing too big on tap for today. I need to redo those earrings with the space, plus do some more. I am big into earrings right now. Plus lovely PSP. I may need to clean something too, but right now I need to go back to sleep for an hour or so LOL. I am so cold. I just can't get warm this morning. I hope yall have a nice day. Carol, did you make it back safely? How are all of you? Love, Grassy

Good morning Grassy, we'll be taking our son back to work at the mine this evening (if he can't get a friend to drive him) He'll be paying 80 bucks for gas either way! Wish he would save and get his own vehicle. Its still cold here...-9F and still have all the snow and ice to melt. I am soooo sick of winter!!!

Good morning ladies. It's a cloudy, dreary, wet day here. But it's in the 40s. Makes me want to curl up in a chair and read/sleep all day.

The next few days are going to be really busy. I have to work today and Josephine Wall and company will be arriving tomorrow around 6 PM. So after they arrive you probably won't see me until Monday after they have left as there are so many functions going on while she is in the Tampa area. Good thing I took some days off

Carol, be super careful tonight OK if you have to go? Huronna, I hope you have the best time ever - but you always do have fun :-) HI Betsy.
I didn't nap. I remade the earrings with the space, which were kinda bad so I never did show you, plus I did two more pairs to use as templates so if people want earrings they can point to the style they want. I can make earrings pretty quickly at a show. Bracelets, anklets and necklaces take more time, so they can't be done on a while-you-wait basis.
My mom got cable TV after her converter box failed to do what she wanted it to. So she's been watching all the shows she's been missing. She is furious with Barack Obama for pre-empting Without A Trace for her speech the other night. She thinks he should give his speeches on a night when there's not good TV.
Huronna, are they good about giving you time off when you need it? I hope so.

SInce I only work 3 days one week and 4 the next I do have lots of time off. And when they do is have a calendar that you can mark on it what days you would not want to work. If no one else has asked for those days they make the schedule with you working the days you want. Most of the time there is no problem as long as you request them in time. Plus we can swap days. Origianlly I think they were going to arrive on Sat so I was actually scheduled off thur and on Friday. But there was one person who was off friday and on Thursday so I just asked her to swap. She is one that I have swapped with before to help her out so she did me the favor. SO I'm actually off Friday thru Monday and go back to work on Tuesday. It's a great way to end my career of working after over 40 years LOL I actually started in my field in 1967, before many of you were even born LOL

I graduated high school in 1964 and was in the Air Force when you started working in 1967. Oh those were the days. Some times I wish we could live them over, without a lot of the pain and heartaches involved. I hope everyone has been having a great day. It is raining, and COLD here. I am off to watch some videos hubby and I rented. See you all this evening.
