Hi Neophyte! I love taking part in every challenge, and I would be upset with myself if I had missed this one! I just realized that we had to pick up a bird from the Al2safe tubes, and now I wonder if penguins are..birds! ;D I haven't seen anyone fly!! every time I see them they just walk on the ice!! Oh well, it took me a while to make this one, so too tired to go back and redo another one! Oh, I am so happy I was The Guest of Honor this week at Huronna's Featured Member of the Week!! It was such a surprise and such an honor for me! Thank you all for accepting me into your family! I feel as if I know you all for a long time, and its only a couple of months we "know each other"!

I am not sure I am completely satisfied with this one, but my hand got tired so I quit. Thanks again for the snags.

FYI...Penguins are birds that cannot fly, but they swim very well and spend most of their lives in the sea. They swim fast underwater or leap across the top of the waves, like the Chinstrap penguin on the right. However, they lay their eggs and raise their chicks on land. All penguins live in the Southern Hemisphere. Some species, or kinds, of penguin spend as much as 75% of their lives in the water.
Love your tag Steve
Good to see you had time to play Diane

Holey moley, Marilyn. You got your hands on some awesome bird photos. I know there are prettier birds, but I do love the robin. Perhaps because he's such a harbinger of Spring here. You've really outdone yourself on that newest one.
Steve, I just hears the other day on one of those documentaries that penguins fly underwater. Cool, huh? I was also surprised that some are found much farther north than the antarctic. Not as far as the equator, of course. Your tag is kind of like the three bears. What is missing is Golidlocks in a heavy parka....lol Congrats to you again.
LOL Sally, I really have to laugh. I did a bluebird splat, too. Mine just wasn't watch where he was going. I don't know if I can even find him again. You know some people, eer, birds, just have to learn the hard way....lol
Omigosh, Diane. Wouldn't that make a breathtaking sight? It's difficult to play follow the leader for flamingos. They have a birdbrain of their own....lol
Thanks bunches for doing this weeks challenge. Love the tags.

Ouch! Well, here I am back again. Tired but glad the funeral is over...still a big mess of legal matters, etc to clean up down there (not to mention what to do with my poor little mil) Got to see my mum for a short visit, she looks better than I've seen her in years. Had to buy a spring jacket to wear while down there, now I'm back home in the snow with a heavy snowfall warning for today. Hope everyone here is fine. Heres my result for the challenge-

Welcome back, Carol. I went to buy a really light jacket and they aren't in our Wally World yet or they've sold out and are getting ready for the next winter stuff. Who can tell these days? I like your tag. I should send it to my hubby with a notation about his lat trip north. There were 4 guys and I'm sure it was just like that.
Mandy.....the dodo escaped from safe tubes and landed on your tag. I made a comment about his not getting off the ground and I can see I was right. Too much midsection and too little wingspread. Perhaps he needs to talk to a bumblebee...lol Hey good thinking, hummingbird, that is one sweet flower.
Thanks for doing the challenge this week. Very cool work.

Now that's what I need.....a blue flamingo for my garden, since I'm not a pink person. Very clever, Barb. LOL And wouldn't he stand out in a flock of pink birds. Thanks for doing the challenge this week.
