Another Friday has arrived and that means another challenge. This week is a category challenge. We have some wonderful bird images in our safe tubes, so this week, find one or more bird tubes and build yourself a tag. You may want to make your own image or know of another safe image. As long as it's a bird and safe, it's good to go. Add some kind of animation, use the proper credits, and post it in this same thread.
Fly, tweet, and chirp on, animators.
Newbies, join right in. This is a challenge, not a contest. It is for fun, inspiration, and fellowship. Just work to your experience and knowledge.

Good grief, Sue, you are really on a roll. Did you find a bottle of 'cute and clever' pills? If I email you my addy, could you share a few? That is just so darn cute. Thanks for doing the challenge.

I made this earlier in the week.. But thought it fit perfectly with the Challenge..Sorry the bytes are so high..I had to cull it quite a bit to get it down as it was... Just wanted to show it anyway.. Neo if the credits aren't right let me know... Don't feel bad if you have to delete..Still learning with this new way of doing credits..

OH Neo! It's perfect! I love the bright colors! Thanks tons. Besides Grassy, ReeRee would love this. And BTW... I loved the Beatles back then, too. Now I'll be singing all the way to pick Walt up. Thanks for the memories.
That's a great tropical scene Dar.

Sue, you are testing my funny bone again and succeeding.
Eeek talk about bright, where are my shades...and a little groaner to boot. Was Mac here?
Dar bytes aren't that big less than 350, nice tag.
Geeze I haven't even done the font one and now here is another. Woe is me, I have to stop having so much company

Here's my try. It was over 500 bytes, so I downsized it, but did I go enough? I worry that if I go too much, it won't be readable. This is a snag if you want it.

Dar, I love inside/outside/over the side images, so I really like how this is done. It may not be what you meant the flower movement to be, but what it reminds me of is those mirrors for birds that give a distorted reflection.
That's right, Bosslady Bird. You tell 'em. Quit all that jibber-jabbering with other birds and get to crackin' on those images. There's animatin' to be done. LOL
LOL You were thinking just as bright as I was, Grassy. I love that left bling. I'm trying to figure out why yours got so high in bytes. A couple of things and questions. One bling probably would have been enough, since they tend to carry alot of bytes with them. The left one is so dramatic that I didn't even notice the right one at first. That being said, did you use median cut or octree when you optimized it? I know most people use median cut. I nearly always use Octree. Octree takes less bytes. It wouldn't hurt to check it out to see if it gives a decent result as far as how it treats the tag. The other thing is that it's better if you resize before you optimize. (I don't know how you did it) For instance....say you go to File/Optimization Wizard and then you see that the bytes are going to be sky high, so you're going to resize. Be sure you go to Edit and click the Undo Optimization before you resize and reoptimize. Psst......I like the caption alot....lol
Energie, are you teasing that chick with a name filled with corn kernel blinkie things. That cannot be good for his psyche or his eyesight...lol It does make for a cute animation though.... snickers
Thanks for doing this week's challenge, my fine feathered fellow animators. I appreciate it.

I am unsure what made the bytes so high, unless it was the filter on the picture frame. SBP and other filters can go high in bytes too. The butterfly to the right is really not that necessary come to think of it. I wanted a really bright sassy bling to go with the birds - maybe the left bling was enough. I forgot to put my name on it - you know Grassy made Me - but I figure everyone will see how bright it is and they'll know it's me anyhow. I never knew there were different ways to optimize. I will give that a shot.
I am so happy that you liked my saying. I made that up.
All the birds are so pretty. You all kicked butt.

Such a variety and some with such fabulous colors. I will give this a try tomorrow. I think my wrist has done enough today. Thank you for the snags.

What a breath of fresh air seeing all these lovely animal animations. Looks like spring is really here...at least in the group. I have been occupied...yep over at WIGH's doing lessons. Sorry I haven't been here. I will try to do better, I promise.

Omigosh, Jocelyn. It looks like my hubby has been there with his chainsaw....lol Poor fellows. Perhaps that's an owl swing and we just can't see the ropes......oooooooh, better yet, they are magical owls.......I choose that one. Whatever. They are beautiful on that black background.
Silk, I'm betting that GB comes in and tells you that's a duck doing a goose step.....lol Otherwise it's a really short-necked goosy.....heh heh heh Omigosh. Your second one is wonderful. I love the entire thing and the touch of animation is perfect.
Thanks for joining into the challenge this week. Nice work and I appreciate it.
