Everybody needs to be up and at 'em. There is church to attend and tags to be created and grills to be fired up. We only got a few cross bars put into the new arbor yesterday bfore the rain started. We need the rain, so that's fine. By the time it cleared up, hubby was on his way to fish, so I went shopping. He has decisions to make on what to grill this weekend now. One of our grocery stores cuts their own meat, so I picked up some ground steak trimmings for one of the choices. I knew he'd pick that to try immediately tonight. New York strip steak tomorrow, so I'll have to divide out the other meat into zip locks for later. I was annoyed in that again Walmart was out of something I went to get....a Blue Tooth connection so I can download my cell phone pics to the puter. I can see why people shop for some things online....lol Then dummy me forgot to look at the camcorders. I'm stuck trying to decide how much to spend. I hate to buy too inexpensive and then wish I had better, but on the other hand, my SIL spent nearly $1000 for his. There's no way I could force myself to spend that, but then I don't have his money either. Today no rain in the forecast, so we'll finish the arbor and I'll plant the new annuals I bought and the seedlings I started....if my body holds up. Carol cost me an extra $5.50 just because she mentioned buying a 6 pack of wave petunias. Nobody is allowed to mention what they are planting....for obvious reasons....lol Have a wonderful Sunday.

Good morning...about time for me to get dressed and moving! Hope you enjoy your bbq later and have fun planting! I'm just putting seeds in today...not chancing putting plants in yet. I bet your arbor will look great! Yesterday I bought some tomato plants (Beefsteak and 1 lemon boy) and some pepper plants, a trailing plant that I can't remember the name of and a citronella plant. Now...don't rush out to buy more plants! Hahahahaha I know I'll be back to buy more next week!

Well today was the day that Grassy was supposed to visit, but unfortunately plans have changed along the way and there will be no visit, which makes me sad. I think this graduation turned out to be quite the family reunion and she was not able to get away. Plus it has rained every day since she has been in Florida (we need her to come more often) and it's been torrential rain and that makes the roads really difficult especially if you are new to the area. i guess they got a car which turned out not to be ergonomically correct for them and has a couple of blind spots, so that makes driving even more of a problem. Sure sorry to have missed her.
On the other hand, it looks like ReeRee, who has also arrived in Florida is going to make the trip over on Tuesday. (I have the day off) I think her mom is going to be doing the driving on the highway and then Ree will take over once they hit town. I sure hops it doesn't rain that day and they will make it.
My camera is ready

Good late afternoon from Portland. It has been such a lovely day that I spent a great deal of it outside. Now Tom is napping and I am on the computer. He BBQed last night and will tonight too. I love this weather and we are to have it all week although it will be warmer. It is too bad that Grassy can't make it Huronna. I have been watching the news and Florida really took a hit with all that rain. I hope ReeRee makes it. Enjoy whatever is left of your day.

OK, so mornings start a little late round here! lol, Went to church this morning, came home, lunch, nap, then back to church for choir, Sunday School Teachers meeting and evening service. I have been on the puter a wee bit today between everything but not much. Have my youngest son here visiting and they are sleeping in the computer room. He is a whiney baby and around 9 or 10 he is crying to go to bed....roflol, He is leaving either in the morning or Tuesday morning so will try to enjoy all the time I can with him, may be 6 months before he is home again.

Yes, mornings get going really late around here, after all, look at the time!! LOL
So sorry Grassy couldn't make it to visit Huronna. I always hated the rains in Florida. The roads are as slick as if there was ice on them. We were warned about driving in the rain when we first moved there, and they sure were right.
We were to get some of that rain, but we didn't get much over the past week. Maybe there is still hope.
