Scraps with no tube: Scraps by ABC and the URL

Unless it is specifically stated in the store TOU, you do not need to put on your license for a scrap kit only tag (Confirmed by CDO).

Unless there is a specific TOU included in the kit or clearly written on their site, you only need to mention “Scraps by ABC” but here at AL and AD we require that you give their URL.

FTU Scrap kits that have no TOU:

FTU and PTU scrap kits may contain the same items in them.

Many Commercial Use [CU] sites and scrappers will purchase the same item as another scrapper

so many of these FTU scraps contain the TOU “no credits needed” because they know that what they contain is not their own.

What do we do?

It is easy to say, just don’t use items you can’t credit. But what if is a particular image that goes perfectly with your tag design. You know you got it from a FTU scrap kit. And, it even looks similar to one you have seen elsewhere. Can you use the item as an embellishment? Or how do we credit it? Let’s do it this way.

AL and AD Rule: If you use one or two (and not more) items that came from FTU scrap kits that have no TOU or even said no credit needed, we ask that you add “FTU scraps”. BUT if you are using more than two items, you are required to credit the scrapper “Scraps by ABC”.

Remember, different sites have different rules. While these rules are for AL and AD, they may not be fine for other sites. So, read their rules and to abide by them.

Avatars are a different story. Just 1 image on an avatar MUST be credited. It must have the scrappers name on it, “Scraps by ABC”.
