OK, what is a template? How is it different than a mask?
What are overlays? How do I use them?
Can I use a designer called Bitchin Scraps?
Can I use two different scrap kits on the same tag?
That is all. For now LOL.

Interesting questions Grassy. I'll wait to see what the answers are, too.

Did you hear the joke about the cat who ate the cheese and waited in front of the mousehole with baited breath? LOL! I thought of that joke when I came in here because I am all curious.

Template usually made with preshapes, circles, squares etc. It's a basic pattern and you use the shapes and change their colors to suit your image. That was what I used on yesterdays WWO.
Mask are one layer. they can be used to frame something or to cut away part of a background to make it look more interesting.
If you are using a scarp kit that needs crediting, depends on their TOU, you don't mix it with others. Usually all things in one scrap kit are color coded and there are sufficient things to make a full tag. Other wise you would use accessories that can be mixed and matched. All depends again on the TOU
The other site? go to it and read their TOU

THANKS!
I just wondered about the Bitchin Scraps because of the word Bitchin.
Cool!
So if I wanted to mix and match, the only way to use, say, yellow paper with orange accents would be to use the same designer? Or find a kit with both yellow and orange in it?
Good to know!

Grassy, it is not the wording you have to worry about. it is the persons TOU. That makes all the difference in any tag you make on any site you are on. Always read the TOU, and don't worry about what the name of the person or their site is called.....(unless it is vulgar)

I just glanced at Bitchin Scraps once before and I think it's a pay site. I may be wrong . Grassy, This Proboards forum has a bunch of beautiful scrapkits. Her TOU is on the general page and she doesn't require credit. I do give her credit though because they are gorgeous and she deserves credit, but you don't have to. poppyshares.proboards.com/index.cgi#general

Also most scrap kits say that you can colorize their things

Cool. So far it hasn't come up yet, but I figured I would ask while it was on my mind.

I just checked at Poppys and yes you can color her kits.
It's not stated under her TOU but if you read her "My Kits" thread she states that you can.

You're welcome. They're hard to see when adding them to a tag. I hope they work for you, hon.
