You are most welcome. It's good luck to do the first tag in pink. I had too much black on the other one, but this one is pink pink pink.
Will I be able to pet a flamingo? I don't suppose they stay still. And I suppose the keepers of the parks would take a dim view of my leaning over the fence to touch them.

I don't think flamingos are in the petting zoos. That is the only place you can pet animals, and if there is a fence around animals I wouldn't suggest trying to lean over to do anything. lol

Thanks so much for liking it!
I am a very tactile person. I have to touch everything.
A zookeeper once had a Blue Cayman Lizard that he was showing people and they were all squaling and freaking out. The zookeeper came up to me and asked if I wanted to kiss the lizard. I said sure and leaned down and the zookeeper looked at me like I was insane and told me I was too germy to kiss anything at Zoo Atlanta. I love lizards.
I love all animals. Well I am scared of kangaroos and stinging insects and jellyfish, but I like to look at them if I am away from them.

There are usually many of them together in a herd and they are seen from a distance. I kissed a camel once in Israel, actually it was Valentine's Day and he kissed me HA HA

I have never seen a camel up close Huronna. Are they pretty. Are their noses soft like horse noses? Are they stinky or is that a myth?
Thanks for liking it!
Neo ha ha, I want pink flamingoes in my yard so bad, but Lamb says absolutely not, now way, forget it.

Great tag Grassy. Love the pink and the flamingo. Thanks. We saw some at the Brevard county zoo when we visited our daughter a few years back. They are beautiful. All shades of pink that you can imagine.

Let me look through my pics. I have some from the Como Zoo in St. Paul, MN. I will gladly share with you. Flamingoes, lemurs, parrots and koalas are my favorite animals, so I always try to take pictures when I see them. I also love polar bears.

Great tag... thank you for sharing, parrots are one of my favorite birds, too. When I was still physically able to care for pets, my Mom and I were owned by two African Greys, Amazons... a yellow nape and a blue front, a Lesser Sulfur Crested Cockatoo and my mom also had a Conjure. She and I also had cats, Poodles, a Chihuahua and then went on the bred Yorkshire Terriers for a few years, until our health failed. As a kid I had my share of parakeets and my grandmother had an Amazon in the kitchen that sat beside my parakeet. My grandmother raised and bred canaries and was one of the first breeders in our area to raise canaries with an orange color factor. She sold many to a local pet store that sold retail. I remember as a child it was not unusual for her to have a shoe box inside the oven with a baby bird that the mother had rejected and my grandmother would be up around the clock feeding it a hard-boiled egg mixture off the end of a metal nail file until it got old enough to eat on its own... she was very successful, too, at saving them. She had five aviaries behind our house, which she and my grandfather owned adjacent to their property. On her screened in back porch she had a huge flight cage in which she kept her special pets. She also had button quail, cuter than buttons in one of the aviaries along with two desert tortoises that her brother had rescued and brought to her for safe keeping... Tiny and Jumbo were their names. Of course, that was in the day when it wasn't illegal to have them. My how they loved their watermelon slices when it was in season! Of course, I have been owned over the years by my share of dogs and cats (I raised, bred and showed apricot and red toy poodles and Oriental Short-haired cats), rats, hamsters, guinea pigs, rabbits, tropical fish, a Capucian ringtail monkey, a blond-colored Gibbon ape and a Marmoset monkey. I also had a raccoon that my uncle brought to me to raise after his dog killed the mother and the other litter mate. His favorite food was avocados, which were pretty pricey while living in the mid-west! He loved them and I would share mine with him. During that time period my sister lived with us and she shared her bedroom with the second skunk that she owned... he spent his sleeping hours in her closet... he scared me a little bit! She was working in a dog grooming shop at the other end of the city from my grooming shop and someone came in with the baby skunk on the verge of death and she bought it from the guy. She rushed it to my vet, who did not happen to be in the office, but his associate was there and he told her that he did not know how to tube feed and to take it to me as I was the tube feeding queen in the area. So I tube fed the little bugger around the clock until he got old enough to eat on his own. I have a lot of great memories, be it about birds, rodents or mammals!

I love that tag Cathy. I knew from years gone by that you had been owned by many cats, but I sure wasn't aware of all the other critters. Sounds like you have tons of wonderful memories

No, I have no photos except for a couple of two of my apricot boys being shown and one when he finished his championship and one of my red girl winning the best toy puppy at the Topeka, KS., poodle futurity. They are where I physically cannot get to them. If I can ever get someone to help me reach them I will post them.
Sadly, Mom and I never took any pics of the birds or any of the dogs we owned. The only cat pics I have are of two strays that adopted us. I just have to shut my eyes and visualize my friends of days gone by...
I was never much on taking pictures. I did have some of my son age one through ten and of my two Afghan Hounds, on of the Siamese and Burmese cats, two Shepherd mixes, Irish Setter and my first pet apricot toy poodle, but I lost those when my basement flooded while living in MO.
