Hee.
Good morning yall!
I didn't sleep worth a hoot last night. After not coughing at all yesterday, it went nutsos last night and I was all cough cough cough until 2 a.m. And then poor little Lamb hates our bed so he was uncomfortable AND I was keeping him awake, so he went and slept in the living room. We have a waterbed, and it used to be comfortable for his back, but now he wants a different mattress.
Lamb woke me up so I could get ready for today, but I was already awake at 6:45 when he came in and sat down with me.
I hope this means I will be good and tired tonight.
I will have wonderful, fun adventures to tell you about when I get back.
I am not especially dazzled by this dermatologist. My father in law was a VP at Kellogg Company, and he used to play golf with this guy, and all he wants to talk about is my FIL's Corvettes and his golf game. Plus he whips through the appointments and I am afraid he's going to miss something. I told Lamb it kind of stinks to have to pay the copay for like two seconds of this person's time, but for real, he's the only dermatologist in the whole city of Battle Creek. When I get back I may switch to one in Kalamazoo, but s/he will be out of network for sure.
I have special skincare considerations because I have albinism, so I hope this guy spends more time today.
But in happier news, I get to eat at The Yellow Submarine for lunch! The restaurant is so cute! It's done up like a yellow submarine inside and it's decorated all cute. And the food is super cute. You can get (yeah) subs and these totally yummy salads that are served in bowls made of bread. Plus they have really interesting dressings. Lamb says it's a "chick" restaurant and it's all "girly" food, but I have seen men eating in there. Lamb would just rather die than eat anything green. :-) He's all about his steak and potatoes.
And then I have to get my last minute things for Florida - sunglasses, sunscreen, etc. I have a show this weekend so I need to be all set before I do the show so I can just come home.
We are spending a few days in Georgia with Lamb's friend Scott. Then on to sunny Florida. I can't believe it's almost here! My niece asked us to her graduation almost a year ago! I have only ever been in Florida in the winter so this will be so new for me. I hope it's warm. I hope nothing bites or stings me :-)
When I get home today I am going to play with my scraps and figure them out.
Deadliest Catch is on tonight.
It is beautiful here, sunny and headed for a high of 67. Then it is supposed to be pizzly (poopy and drizzly) tomorrow.
So enjoy today, little Tigerlilies, and remember who loves you.
