I can almost smell them. Boy, that has to be a noseful of sweetness to stand beside. Thanks.

Thanks for liking them. I love lilacs so much, but if I sniff too much I get a headache.

Grassy these lilacs are absolutely marvelous. I can smell them from here. I used to have two large ones in my yard up north, but they only bloomed every couple of years. And when they did it was fantastic. That is another one that doesn't grow down here in the desert area. To dadburned HOT for them. Thank you for letting see these beauties.

You are most welcome. I will have irises for you in a few days too.
Last year our lilacs were not at all prolific like they are this year. I am so grateful that I have big fluffy lilacs.

Thanks for liking them. It was very windy today. I was scared that if I didn't shoot them, the wind might wreck them. So that is why some of them look blurry.

That is one huge tree. DO you have more than one tree? The scent must be wonderful.

That one is three trees smooshed together. It's about 15 feet high because I don't believe in cutting them back if they are thriving. The other one - in light lavender - is almost 30 feet high. That is the one you saw on Friday. The scent in our yard is amazing. And there are all sorts of bees. I want so much to like bees, but I am scared of them, so I keep my distance

Thank you Cathy and Flagryl.
I love my name. I am also very anal about it and I freak out if anyone dares to call me Gwen. LOL.
