My album is s398.photobucket.com/user/huronnatags/library/AustraliaSydneyMelbourne?sort=3&page=5You know you are all free to use whatever photo you want, some are quite large so that parts can be used. Just a small photo by Huronna is the credit to be used. Lets' see what I can get posted here. We spend a couple days in Sydney before joining he group on the ship We did a lot of walking around the area and of course the zoo was number one on our list. Every day there was a different cruise ship docking The Sydney Opera house was a sight to behold The ferry system was amazing, you could go everywhere We took the ferry to Taronga Zoo and went up the lift to the top And the guys we wanted to see Yup, that is me You could climb the bridge, but this was something we decided not to do We stayed at Shangri-la Hotel I better try and send this through before I loose connection

Ours is the smaller ship, we only have about 700 passengers, while the other ship has about 3-4000. Rooms are much smaller on that ship so they can fit more people. This was the train we took a ride on, I did post a couple of videos on Facebook about it Here are some more cuties for you Sorry you will have to turn your head to see this one, check out the little joey we went to a botanical garden, but unfortunately there were no flowers I did love this greenery though Can you tell I love animal encounters?

Awesome photos! I'd rather be on the smaller ship. Too many people on the big one. I don't do well in crowds anymore. Time to make a new Hur Vacation folder on my laptop. That gorgeous bird is calling to me. Not sure what I'm going to do with it yet. Thanks tons for sharing your trip with us.

Awesome photos Huronna! I think you missed your calling in life....you should have been a zookeeper, lol. You do love the critters, ha ha ha! The pics are fabulous though. I still can't get over how the Tasmanian devil looks like a big rat! The koalas are so cute, as is the little joey. Thanks for sharing your trip, I'm loving the pictures!

I loved the Koala sitting in the tree napping and that Meercat looks like he is saying "here I am, take my picture". These are are beautiful photos. Little Joey in mama's pouch is too cute. And I love the photo of you feeding whatever that is. lol
Thank you for sharing your trip with us. I will check out the album this evening.
After putting my glasses back on I see you were feeding a Roo. Boy, I need to stop trying to do things without them. lol

ReeRee, in actuality I had wanted to be a vet. I was actually taking all pre-med courses in college, but could not afford to go any further in my studies than one year internship. I probably would have had my own zoo if I had gone on LOL
I hope to have more animals photos at different stops as all the tours we picked had something to do with the local fauna and flora if possiblle.

Wonderful shots Huronna...I too wanted to be a vet but life got in the way. The beautiful parrot is a King Parrot that we see at our feeders. The Tasmanian Devil is a ferocious little thing and is a marsupial ....there are breeding programs in place as you probably learned. Disease almost wiped them out. I wonder why no flowers...maybe mostly in Spring plus those in the hot houses. I have been in those. A lovely photo of you.

Thanks for sharing your wonderful photos Huronna. What a great trip you are having. The first two cruises Tom, the boys and I took were on a smaller ship. I liked those cruises the best. The later ones just Tom and I took were on larger ships. They were not as much fun.

Great photos Huronna, but the photo (in Sydney harbour) that you have called a light house is actually Fort Denison. I remember as a child in primary school we did a school excursion to the island... they say it is haunted by one of the convicts that died there. A short history of the fort can be found here:- www.fortdenison.com.au/
