Welcome to Argentina

One of our first stops was the forest outside of Bariloche.

See those black bumpy balls. They are a fungus growing on the tree. In Spring berries appear on it and it is or was one of the first foods of spring.

This tree is not dying, it just looks that way. And when you touch it, the feeling is very cold.

Yes it was not only cold but a "bad hair day" as most of them were.

We visited a Microbrewery and they only make about 600 liters at a time. No commercial sales, only in their restaurant and to the locals.
It was a very good beer

We stayed here two days. Really lovely place.

I love the "locals" there. Are they strays or belong to people? Some very unusual looking trees and you 2 looked like you were freezing.....you more so than Joe. lol
