This toad jumped up and scared my grand daughter when she was weeding. He is the biggest one I have seen out here.

You are welcome. I had never seen one like that either so I looked up Toads in WI. This is the American toad the does come in different colors.

Wow, even tho I am passing on this, I wanted to say I have never seen one with pink on them. The ones I have seen are just shades of brown with spots of darker color.
I think I would have been scared too if he jumped at me. LOL

Its awesome I thing he is a super cool toad. I happen to love these little critters, I have a toad house in my garden and toads actually do use it if you have them properly shaded and has a dirt bottom not grass, lots of different places I have put it until I found its home. I have wondered if I have the same toad year after year they are known to bury themselves and stay put if they like the place.

wow great photo and great tubing Marilyn, I love toads, frogs too... one year I saw one with yellow strips down its back, wish I had had my Camera...
