And yes, if you are wondering it has been cold, chilled to the bone at times, and rainy..thank goodness I brought an umbrella. This is the first time I've been able to get on the computer and I was pleasantly surprised. I was going to edit some photos and all of a sudden Lo and Behold I was connected to the
Internet. WOO HOO
I won't tell you too much as that will all come later when I edit all my photos. I have a couple for you though. The first is a dalia...I could not belive the size of the flowers. They are actually raised in greenhouses and then brough out in the summer and then when winter comes about 2 months later they all are taken in How is this for one BIG flower. I have lots of other flower pics but thought I wouolld tease you with this one
Today we went on a 4 hour tour through the Denali National Park. One a quest for wildlife. We were rather disappointed as the only thing we saw was a ground squirrel. Then one of the buses in front of use had stopped in the middle of the road. WOW what is that but a wolf. Unfortunately I was not able to get a photo because of distance and people's heads, but as we passed the alley on the side there was another wolf with three cubs walking out of the woods and crossing the road. The tour guide said he had only seen cubs 3 times in 15 years. So we were lucky.
we then went to this other are where were did see some caribou. Very fuzzy photo because they were soooo far away, but I had to show anyway.
And then the quest began to see Mt. Denali, the highest mountain in the US. Old name that you might be more familiar with it Mt McKinley. For the lonest time we tried to see it, but there were rain clouds or forests or whatever. But we finally got to out hotel for this evening and this is the view from our window.
What a sight!
Things are pretty tiring so far as were have had to get up before 6 am every morning and you know I am a night person not an early morning one. But I guess I will survive.
I have been layering with so many layers I can barely move HA HA.
You know I miss you all, I won't get time to answer any posts as it's almost 10 pm here and we have to get up at some ungodly time again tomorrow. I sure am looking forward to the cruise part and sleeping in a bit HA HA.
I hope you all are well and most of you wont see this until tomorrow as I see it is almost 1:30 EST, but then that is when I normally am here.
Take care everyone and I'll try to stop in again, but not sure when
