Hi Everyone, Just a very quick update, We had a whole lot happen since I was here last and in a few months hopefully things will be back to somewhat a normal situation. Firstly my partner got Covid and after a long fight he was placed on life support, some form of miracle occurred and he is fortunately still with me. It was a long road of recovery and therapy, and after months of hospitalization he was allowed to come home, but was still needing a lot of after care. He is now 100% fine and although it took its toll he is doing remarkably well. They also laid him off from his job of 26 years in January, with a zero sum severance package, I also had my second heart attack in February and then his mother passed away in March, we spent several months in AZ helping his father and trying to financially survive ourselves on savings, thankfully we had those, for most importantly keeping our mortgage paid. It became a huge burden and as embarrassing as it can be, we had to shut off most of our services other than the absolute necessities this included internet and even our cell phones for awhile. Although with my phone i was having issues with my actual cell phone to begin with, so my phone was not useable for sometime. My son has also had some serious issues medically, and we have dealt with those along the way as well. It has been a torrid and horrendous end of year, and then year for us, but we are slowly working things out and finally seeing a tiny light at the end of the tunnel, although not completely solved, we are more optimistic these last few eeeks then we have even been able to be in some time. I hope to be around more in a few months time, given everything stays on course. I wish everyone well and hope you are all doing wonderfully and staying healthy and happy. Take care and be safe Dee

Oh My Word! First I am so happy that you have been able to stop in. I know I did speak to you a few months ago and Knew a lot of your difficulties, but as you say, it has been a bummer of a year for many of us, myself included. WOW covid really hit your SO hard. MIlyn is a long covid survivor and has dealt with its ramifications for many years. Hope you will be able to stop in again soon.

Oh dear Dee, that's a rough trial for sure. Kudos to you and husband for staying the course. So good to see you back.
My grandson, who was suppose to arrive from NC w/father Mon, came down w/what may be Covid so they had to cancel for second time. Some of you may remember from dear bf Sandy finally died of lung cancer 3 years ago. Her husband died early this month, twin boys in Seattle area. One of them is here in AZ getting youngest son settled at ASU so he and his wife came for dinner last night. They didn't leave til 10 pm! We had the local homemade tamales I'd ordered for grandson and my step-son and I put together some appetizers. John had baked his famous carrot cake, a winner. We had such a lovely time. So my step-son, dil and grandson are now coming for Christmas. Yea. Can't believe they are willing to brave that time of year when we may get snow, one never knows.
PT again today, I think I'm making improvements.

So, how does the Queen of Clean get a Wolf Spider in her house? Haven't seen one since we lived in Ohio adjacent to woods/creek. Tues night we saw a huge one, size of a silver dollar with legs spread, in front of the tv. It escaped under the tv stand. Next day we thoroughly cleaned the hard to reach places and even turned over the davenport and loveseat and vacuumed there. Then after our guests left Wed nifht, we were relaxing late, and it appeared again, but this time John was able to chase it down, goodness they are quick, and get it. So, we bought some spider traps and already there is one in the sticky trap. I know, I know, they are harmless and eat other bugs like ants and such but I do not like them in the house. It's been a wet spring/summer so there's that.

Creepy creepy. I remember if we posted a WWO with a spidie we had to put something in the title because Ainta felt about then just like I feel about "SSS" We used to have what we called Binjo spiders when I lived in Japan. they jumped, but they were harmless, but you sure don't want them around. It was like the other day I was grabbing a bunch of AnnCrols images and there was a bunch of "SS" on them , don't expect to see them in her tube thread because I don't do them.

I have been battling with my PSP since yesterday. I finally got it reinstalled but still have the same issues. It's acting like later versions, which I HATE. I am still using x2 have bought tons others but still go back to x2. IF i could figure out how to make my plugins work in later versions I would try something else, maybe. When I open a new image it just doesn't look right. No x to close it. I can't open several images without them all being lined up across the top. I used to be able to open individual images and close them individually. It's a pain in tooshie!

I feel for you, I know that a lot of the newer version are not compatible with the old plugins, that's why I still stick to the old reliable Jasc PSP8
I remember trying to help someone on the phone, we spent over three hours one night, would get filters installed and as soon as she closed the program, they would disappear. There was no way I could help becasue I don't use Corel programs.

I use PSP X and PSPv4 successfully with all plugins. There are only a couple that only work w/X.

There are some app issues involving not enough RAM that I believe has been affecting my PSP. Some apps, like Google Pics, automatically assign it a top priority. It's complicated to change when they've imbedded it. And, Windows update will cancel out any changes you've made in the Task Mgr where an app RAM allocation resides.
So, after doing a tutorial and changing colors several times, the Color Picker slows and then stops. In PSPv4 I can recolor and that takes some energy. Anyway, the PSP Color Picker becomes slow and then downright takes, I'm not kidding, several minutes to work. I have had to close out and restart and sometimes shut my computer down and start all over. Well, figured that out so now I go to the Task Mgr and set the RAM to high for PSPv4. All works well until the next Windows update.
I've tried to figure out if there is some way to change some color settings in PSP but so far I have not found. I am good about having my preferred Workspace saved so if I hit something strange (in a hurry) and I lose my window I can get my Workspace back easily. File/Workspace. In fact I have 2 workspaces saved. I name and date them.

Talked to Anita last night, it's been quite some time. She is doing well, but little Gracie fell and broke her back paw or ankle. She has a little cast on it and keeps looing at Anita like...why me mommy?
Also got an e-mail from Silk, she is handing in there and Ben and other family members are coming for a visit. I'm glad Ben moved closer to her so He can visit more often.

Glad to know Anita is doing well and Gracie is recovering and getting tlc. Silk is so fortunate to have her family near and that Ben is moving to be closer.
We picked up a case of peaches shipped from Colorado and some frozen tart cherries for pie. We'll prepare the peaches for freezing in a day or so. I package them 8 peeled and sliced to a gallon bag and freeze. Cobbler or pie.
I sent in 6 sets for the Zone auction and I've done my Sept challenges for AD, whoop whoop!

I haven't even started with mine, have a couple of days and also the one for Friday here. Just call me "last minute Sally" unless it for auctions and then I'm lickity split.

Well, I am not going to make it for the auction at The Zone. My mama leaves for Seattle Wednesday and I am helping with her last-minute stuff. I haven't done a lick of tagging for the auction and I assume the deadline is Wednesday. My sister already left for Seattle. She posted a picture of a double gin and tonic so I don't need to ask how things are going there.
Otherwise, things are all right. I am beyond exhausted. I seem to want to sleep all the time. Le Sigh.

quoting from Suzie You have to go to the top and click on window, then on cascade. And that should do the trick.
i had to uncheck what was checked

Went to see my trainer today, I was really pooped though because it was late in the day, 4-5, usually I do 12-1. So I decided to relax a couple of hours and stopped at the casino. I was down quite a bit and feeling down and then all of a sudden something had pity on me and I got back 1/2 of what I had lost. So I tried another 20 and was, turned it into 90, everything I touched afte rthat was golden. I was only up 60 by the end of 2 1/2 hours , bu that sure was better than being way down and I had a relaxing couple of hours. Out of the house and by myself. sigh, need that once in a while.
