Great to see you Chance, sorry your arthritis hasn't gotten all better. We sure have missed you. Yup, this year has been a real bummer for many of us, hopefully mine (Of I should say my Hubby's) is finally getting better. My BP does just the opposite usually with anxiety and sometimes I have no idea. Though I'm on a lot of meds for it, I now had what I call my "magic pill" when the BP starts going up (it doesn't happen often thankfully) I pop on of them. My Habby on the other hand has low BP and dehydration is a killer, got to keep hydrated. Hope to see you again soon.

Hi everyone! Lovely to see Silk in. Glad everyone is handling storms various ok. Happy to hear Joe is progressing and your PT is kicking in again Huronna. Replacement joints... it's amazing, but not easy. got a knee that has to be done. Been pushing it off but it is affecting hip and back becasue it is caving to the center in spite of my efforts to stop that. He operated on it to repair it in 22 - but it was much worse than he thought. At least I made it through the cancer surgeries. I have to find out how long after before I can have another surgery. I'll know more next month. Meanwhile; trying to do at home PT to stretch painful hip and back. And painful chest, lol. Oh well! Can still move! Waving... off to a meeting to pick up an 18 month coin!

AT least we are all waking up on this side of the grass, except here in Fl with all the dry weather the grass is not green but brown LOL

With all the rain and cool weather, my lilac bush thinks it is spring and is blossoming again. The grass is green like April here. We have had only 4 days in the high 80s here and only 1 in the 90s. I went out to vote in our Primary Election today and it was only 74 degrees. I have been working on myself and sometimes that is a ton of work.

Today has been weird. We are on the "do not call" list, and when a spam comes through, it still rings our phone, but then disconnects. We don't answer the phone until someone speaks and we know who they are. Usually we might get 10 of these a day. Now I am not exaggerating, but I think we have gotten over 30 of them this morning. There for a while it was every minute. I wish I would have actually counted them

I occasionally get the spam ones, but they look so real. You just always have to be on your toes. I generally don't answer unless it is a number I know but I will return the call if someone leaves me voicemail and I know them, so if any of y'all want to talk to me, be sure and leave me a message. I will call you right back.

We have a call block feature on our phone, but it only holds 200 calls and I've reached the limit. I think I'm going to buy the Call Blocker, we get a discount through our phone service. It comes with 5,000 pre programmed nuisance/spammers and you can block up to 5,000 additional.
Grassy, my daughter and sil's best friend Tripp just advanced to the Nov election in Rochester for city council, ward 2. I've known and like him, he's non partisan and a solid guy. Except he's a Vikings fan.
Had a good PT session yesterday and doing much better, I guess I'm doing rather well.

Had a 1 PM appt with my trainer, great workout and then a little visit with Adalia the 11 month old baby and Cathy the 8 month pregnant mommy carrying the second baby. The on the way home I decided to drop in at the casino. No..no super winnings but was there for 2 hours and came home with $200 extra in my casino wallet. Lady luck must have been with me today. I definitely needed an afternoon of "Me time" and enjoyed every minute of it

Yay! Me time is good! And profitable it looks like! Way to go Huronna!
Nothing much is happening here. Took my mama shopping today to get some last minute wedding things. The wedding is two weeks from today. Yikes! And then summer is over.

Today I have been in PSP trying to make a label for a video I shot of a friend who is a singer. I can't remember how to put text on a curve. I'm going to search here as I know I will find it, but it's disconcerting and illustrative of how much I have lost.
Yesterday we began the process of evicting the woman we put into a house during the omicron time frame. I met with her son. My left chest is very painful. But it is a super full moon tomorrow and a chance to set new intentions and manifest change. So make your list and state your wishes!

Nope. I didn't find it. I'll look at AD or do something else. I hate losing my brain in pain!

Thank you Huronna. I remembered a little and made it work. I'll study this and save the link so I don't have to do it the hard way. The title page for this video I shot of a singer I know is what I was working on. Now I'll go shoot the video I mention as coming up. Then I have to do the title page for that, followed by another of her songs! I'm sure I'll need round text again! youtu.be/lMvHk56bOsU

Huronna, my niece Morgan is getting married in Seattle in 13 days. My mama and Morgan' other grandma are going to be flower grannies - they will do what flower girls do. My older brother is going too in order to help my mama. Sid and I were invited, but it is too expensive for us so we are staying home. Our big treat vacation next year will be Sid's grandson's graduation next year. We will go via Duluth, MN and over the UP of Michigan and down through. Morgan's wedding is going to be a really big deal. Big fancy.

That is cute, flower grannies. I think it's challenging to fly to weddings, ie packing dress, suit, dress shoes, etc. When Drew was married outside of Boulder, CO we drove. Great time to spend w/family before and after. I'm sorry you won't be going Grassy, but hope your mom has a grand time.
Congrats on the text on a curve Milyn. I use it alot but do it differently. More rain today and in the coming week. We do have periods of sunshine.

Just lil ol' me peekin' in on this Sunday night. We had a huge thunderstorm in the wee hours of the morning and our furbaby was a nervous wreck. She just wouldn't calm down 'til it was over. So needless to say I've felt a bit sleep deprived today. Wishing everyone a happy new week! (((HUGS)))

Oh how I understand. I remember when I lived in Puerto Rico and not only Thunderstorms but hurricanes also. My little Sheltie would jump on my lap, and shake. He hated those noises. I hope you rest better today
