So odd since I got comments from two friends, one in CT and the other lives in Canada. So odd

They may pop up for me in a couple of hours. Facebook is a weird and wondrous thing. Or you could try re-posting them and then for sure they will show up twice. The Law of technology. Hee Hee.

Reunion is over and we are already at the airport. Quite a bit early, but it was the only non-stop, had a lunch and now sitting at the gate relaxing and probably napping in a bit. Can’t wait to get home and on my pc, I have my challenge all ready to put up, did that before I left. It’s a super duper one and a bit different. So see you all later this evening

And now for the most embarrassing thing I have ever done. I had Joe in the wheelchair and we went to baggage claim and I kept checking the luggage and finally ours came out. Pushed him in the wheelchair up to the elevator and then on our way home we stopped at Olive Garden for dinner. As we walked in the house the phone was ringing and Joe was brining in the suitcase and he said. Heidi, it's not our suitcase. OMG! I like to die, and the phone was the owner of the suitcase calling from lost and found at the airport.. Thank heaven she was not yelling and screaming and I must have apologized a zillion times, , in the end the airport was sending out a driver to collect her suitcase and to bring our to us. I am totally mortified, as I have never done something like this in all of the travels we have taken. Now we wait up to whatever time it takes for them to get their suitcase,

I am glad you had a fun time, though.

They arrived to pick up the other suitcase at 1 in the morning, driver said she was going back to the airport and then would get mine and bring it. We watched TV until 3:45 Am and then I thought....I wonder if they came and just put it at the door. Opened the door and there it was, they did not even ring the bell. I still feel terrible about the whole ordeal. I opened up her id tag, but it didn't have an address only a cell number and name. I did call her as soon as they had picked hers up, so thankfully she got her clothes for her cruise that was leaving today.
All my suitcases have little crocheted ferret toys on the handle, besides the ID, told Joe we are going to have to do the same for his luggage as his is so familiar to everyone else's. Mine is a brown suede, very different. But we had used his this time.
Today is unpack and do the wash and there is lots of it as the temp in Nashville was over 100 each day.
I am glad to be home.
While I was waiting for the suitcase, I did a bunch of new Leonarda's and Audre's images

Huronna you sure did have a interesting trip to Nashville and back my friend. I would have a cow if our suitcases we missed but then found. Glad you got everything straighten out and settled. Poor Joe, I hope he is okay? Thanks for all your wonderful words and prayers here. John had his cataract surgery on Thursday, August 24th and we arrived at the local hospital here before 10:30 am. Of course one has to register and that took a while to. Then showed us to one day surgery, outpatient and got him ready for the surgery. We were there for about 4 hours and then back home. The only bad thing about the whole day was the weather, by the time we got home the temperature was well over 100. Stopped and got something to eat before we got home. Next cataract surgery is Sept 14th. Hope everyone has a wonderful day.

I remember when I had mine done Margie, the first thing I noticed was how bright everything was. Whites were so white. My eyes are very sensitive to brightness now, I have to wear sunglasses as soon as I step out of the house. I'm glad everything went so well.

I am so happy things went well Margie! Yay!
I am glad all the luggage got sorted out too. I have a burgundy suitcase or a bright yellow bag for carryon, but sometimes it's really hard to tell apart. And if you are in a hurry, things can get confusing.
Work is kind of tough. I am not getting done as fast as I want to and I am late getting my case filled. I hope I don't get into trouble. I hope they realize I am still learning and they cut me some slack. I love the job.

Hello everyone. Sorry I've not been here for a while. Oh Huronna ...I would need a tranquilizer after all that with the luggage. You've certainly had some excitement lately. Glad things are going well with your husband's cataract surgery Margie. I've had mine done too. Piece of cake. Like Huronna I need sunglasses. Grassy, You can't be expert as soon as you start a new job...it takes time and I imagine practice in your place. I'm not doing so well and of course anxious about Julien's surgery. Best wishes to everyone.

Hi all
we took a visit to our local Legoland near London UK, it was great but we will have to go back again next year and i might even the grand daughters, the middle one loves lego and building things. Lots to see and do, definitely worth a visit. We have our holiday in a caravan by the coast, Wild Duck Haven, we do this each year for our birthdays in October, we head out on the 29th September for 7 days, i plan on relaxing and not going far, my 3 grand daughters should be coming from Friday to Sunday and then we have a few friends coming for a visit on Monday during the day and staying for tea. A friend should be making a cake for my sister so that will be nice.
Have a great week everyone.

Thanks you all for your kind words about John's cataract surgery , we really appreciate them. Plus your experiences with having cataract surgery. I have had both my eyes done but now dealing with my left eye isn't due to the cataract surgery. I have a large dark cloud and yet no one here can treat me. I'm going back to my regular eye doctor and see if I can get better set of glasses. It's been two years now. Silk , we will indeed pray for Julien's surgery my friend.

I have had a rash that has gotten worse, so poor Sid made a 180-mile round trip to see a dermatologist who actually took skin biopsies and ordered labs because this thing is insane. I am unsure if he is just being thorough or if this is nuts. But I sure was not expecting this at all. The rash on my legs looks like vasculitis except it's itchy and the rash on my arms looks like sunburn except it's itchy. He even wrote me off work - I am sure because I work with food. But I think there is something in the kitchen that is irritating me - although how did my legs get exposed? But I am not sure what will happen. All I know is I am itchy and scratchy. And sunburny but it's not sunburn.

Thinking of you dear Silk and praying for Julian and his surgery. So glad you and your sister are having such great vacation caravan times, enjoy. Goodness Grassy dear, I hope you didn't pick up something weird at work, take care sweetie.
Huronna, the hurrican Idalia is headed your way so button down the hatches. I know you know the routine, stay safe.
Been doing just a bunch of boring stuff, but necessary. Sleeping better, so that's a plus.

Margie I lost the sight in my left eye a while back. I just see black, but with some peripheril light. The other eye is good but we have to look after it. It might be the same as yours. Grassy...what a bummer having the rash is for you. One wonders what's next in this life sometimes. Glad you're getting some sleep Flagryl...it wears one down night after night of sleeping poorly. Thank you all for your kind thoughts for Julien. The surgery is Wednesday week. My stomach is turning somersaults. Huronna, your latest mists and tubes are wonderful.
