Angel was feeling quite unwell yesterday and tested positive for COVID. She has been admitted to the hospital. She has been fully vaccinated but remember her husband had been in the hospital, but we wanted to originally recuperate at home so Angel was is very close contact with him until he worsened and was taken back to another hospital where he is still in ICU though supposed to be moved to a regular floor at any time. I will keep you posted.

News about Angel not good. Continuing to Keeping both Angel and Marco in my prayers. Will keep checking back for updated news on them. I am scheduled to get my booster on Monday along with the Flue shot. I haven't had a flue shot since some time in the 70s.

Update on Marco and Me: Marco seems to be doing so much better, but he is still on high flow and cannot come home unless he get down to a regular cannula and stable on that for a couple days. The doctor talked with him this morning and told him this will be a long haul and he may be on oxygen the rest of his life. That didn't sit well with him...so he's bound and determined that he will lose a bunch of weight to exercise and to get his body into shape. He doesn't realize that sometimes when your lungs take a hit... they don't come back to what they were. I pray he can lose weight and get them back to health.
As for me... I am asymptomatic and don't even know I have covid. On the other hand I am having a horrible time with the asthma and my stomach. I can't eat just anything. My stomach say NO! I have to eat any time I take any medication. Sometimes it's just a little bite of something but with antibiotics I have to eat a small meal. I just can't get it in without feeling sick. I was able to eat a half piece of toast with mayo and a slice of tomato and cheese. I got about half that down and that was it...but enough to get my meds down. It's a chore because I have to take meds 4 times a day. I am so thankful I decided to take the shots because I would probably not survive covid. My doctor even told me that when I asked about taking the shot.
I appreciate all your prayers so much!

I am so glad that you had your shots, it really does make a difference. Sorry about the fact that Marco may be on Ox for the rest of his life, but hopefully loosing some weight will help in that aspect. We are glad that you are back

Hi Angel Honey! Is there special stuff you have to eat with your ABX? The reason I ask is because when I had to take a lot of meds, I could get away with eating Go-Gurt (yogurt in a tube) and I found that I did not have as much nausea. I was wondering if that might help you out too? Except that some meds are not supposed to be mixed with dairy, so maybe it's a no-go. I am glad you are all right, and I will say extra special prayers for you and Marco all the time!

Thanks for the idea Grassy. I do different things to get the food in and meds down. Thanks for your prayers.
Marco's 02 is up to 93 today so they moved his high flow down...but I am not sure how far down it went. But anything in these directions is good news.

I am very late getting to this thread Angel. I am a bit slow due to health problems. I am so sorry you and Marco are having so much to deal with. The news on Marco sounds a little better and I pray it is.♥

Sorry you are not feeling well Silk. Hope you get better soon.
Latest is if he continues as he is, he will get to come home Monday or Tuesday. Praying for that if it's the right time for him to come home.
Thanks for continued prayers.

Yes he has Suzie. I'm still worried about him. He can't walk from the living room to the bathroom without being worn out and that's with oxygen on. He's not one to just sit around and do nothing...so this is hard on him, but he's still so sick that he couldn't do anything even if he wanted to.

Oh, Angel!!! I am so glad to hear this good news. Continuing to hold him in the Light as he continues to recover. All the best sent your way.
I think our posts crossed paths. I know how hard that situation can be from both sides. Sending more support.
