No, and don't plan to. The only way I'd use it is if it came with a computer purchase.

I don't even use IE at all.
Or are you meaning Windows 11, is that what it is called?

Nope Can't. My computer is so old that it cannot be upgraded to 11. When they no longer support 10. I will have to beak down and get a new one.

I briefly entertained the thought of getting it today but am not going to risk it. My stuff works great of x! It's mostly operator error now

I haven't even heard of the new option. I am still on Windows 8 because any later versions takes away all the programs I bought and won't let me install them. My whole office suite is useless and it is not cheap to purchase or update.

I am not sure if I can go to Windows 11... I will have to see if my computer will handle it.. I think it will but will just have to wait until they post it...

11 is out and free for those who bought computers with 10 already on it and for those who are eligible for the free upgrade - so I could technically get it, but I think I have such a steep learning curve for these things that I better just wait. I don't want to feel like I am beta testing.
I am not a fan of IE due to all the bloatware that comes with it. Being visually impaired, I more often than not click or tap on an ad or something that leads me down a rabbit hole. I find that Chrome is far less apt to do that with my searches. But the caveat is that I have an HP computer and an LG phone. I think a lot depends on your devices.

I am using the last LG phone model since LG has decided to concentrate on their appliances and no longer will be making phones, so when this one becomes obsolete, I will have to choose a new manufacturer and start this whole process all over again. That will be a sad day indeed.

I haven’t used IE in years and don’t intend to. As for Windows 11, not! They came out with it way to fast and I don’t need the upgrade. I will keep what I have until I die if I can. Just like XP I’m used to it now and that’s enough.

I haven't seen anything except what you all are saying here. They make new renditions just to make more money, just like Corel PSP I stuck with XP until it was no longer supported, then went 7, skipped 8 and don't even know if there was a 9 HA HA. now have 10 which is basically the same as 7, which in reality I never saw much difference from XP. Wish they would just leave us alone

IE is not called IE anymore. It is called Edge - as if changing the name will make me forget that it is just more Bill Gates Bloatware. It is also no longer free. And no longer open sourced. So you are essentially paying money to beta test software that may or may not work on your computer. And remember that once you enter that security code, you do not get your money back, you only get credits. No refunds. That just raises my hackles about Microsoft and other companies.
