I am so excited. Just had a message from Ben . He can come up this week sometime. He doesn't live in one of the hot spots and although I have no details yet I guess it's because of my health etc.

Well, Grassy is stocking up on all the sugar treats for Halloween. Am I right Grassy. Huronna is home and packing for her next trip. Silk gets to see Ben but I hope you stay healthy Silk.
I think you all know some tv personalities bought the property next to us, down below. John was down there pulling up exotic species and a guy drove up and excitedly exclaimed pointing, "Is that the Sister Wives house?" John said, "You need to leave." So he did. We don't always see these joy riding folk because it's down below, but sometimes I've seen some strange vehicles driving slowly. We don't have a lot of commerce w/the tv stars but we have had some nice interactions and I don't judge. I wish these people would just leave them/us alone.
I have all my challenges at AD done and I've completed my challenges for both AD and AL for this coming month. Yea!!!
Today is my middle grandson's 18th birthday and Monday the eldest is off to college in BC. The youngest just started school after they left here and is very happy to be in the classroom wearing masks.
Just saw a thin and hungry-looking coyote roaming around up here so I posted on our neighborhood site w/warning to keep pets and young children near by. No one out here lets toddlers play outside alone, but they do let dogs and cats roam unnecessarily. Dogs are not permitted to be off leash but we have a bunch of valley folk who come up here for the summer and let their animals run. Am I getting testy? Almost time for dinner. It's cod w/orange and avocado salsa w/basmati rice and salad w/watermelon.
Have a good evening/day everyone!

I have barely unpacked…l.easy Flagryl. LOL When we were in CT staying with friends I was amazed at the wildlife. Two mornings there was a doe and her little one munching on some grass, then on day there was a coyote walking down the entrance way….which I like a road. Another day a fox. The only wildlife we have around d here are birds and marching peacocks sometimes.
I think I have caught up on most of the phone calls, tired or repeating the whole story. We have a lot to do in the next couple of weeks. It’s time for all my 6 month dr appts. Blood work, GP, derm and neurologist…the last appt for him. On the 5th I have to make the appt for the COVID test to be done onthe morning of the 15th. Has to be within 72 hours of leaving. I’ve already done all the paperwork required for flying to Malta. VeriFLY with proof of vaccination. All on trip must be vaccinated. Passenger PFD’s on line for located forms. I’m on top of all that. Barely getting clothes washed and put away and will be packing some again, but different style than the past trip.
Our cupboard was bare, and yesterday we had no ambition at all, we didn’t even go to the gym . What a bill at the grocery! I think I’ll only need yogurt and milk inthe next two weeks. We actually had to have some stuff put in plastic, first time in eons. Filled all our reusable bags.
Company coming for the weekend, we have not seen them since May and we usually visit every months, here or there. Also the 9 th the big tree trimming company will be here to cutback the trees from our roof and remove a dead one.
That should kee me busy for a while

Good evening everyone. Upsetting news. Ben's partner Steph has been going into work for two days and today someone who is a close contact is suspect. Steph is a casual contact, has been tested and must await results. No Ben visiting us yet. I am disappointed but anxious for Steph. Flagryl, how annoying to have those people intruding. I am interested about the Coyotes. So they can be dangerous? Dinner sounds interesting. I cooked a Thai curry with sweet potato for Ben's visit today but guess I'll freeze it now. Huronna, so much to do...you must be exhausted. Have to say I've felt better and too tired to psp. I did buy some tubes today and hope I feel like making something. Got Joe to buy a couple of frozen dinners. Chicken Kiev that I know is pretty good. I've Cooked enough today.

Ha Ha Flagryl! Actually I have been really bad, but it's been with salt and bread and just basically eating like a longshoreman. Sid made Zippy Beef Casserole. And of course everything tastes better in a wine glass.

LOL Huronna, it's not like I am mixing wine and milk together. That would be alcohol abuse! :-)
